I've been looking for ways that my Writing Center can offer synchronous online tutoring. Etherpad is a free, open source tool that I looked at, and Pirate Pad is one free site that uses it. It's neat and easy to use. Open a Pirate Pad, give the person a link, and you're off!

Users can also use the Create and Artwork feature where they can save view of artwork they enjoy and build a collection of their own. I have been to MoMa, Van Gogh Museum, Amsterdam, Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam and the Freer Gallery of Art- Washington D.C s I would like to see how these collections are represented and how this new Google tool works.

The articles states, "A genuine online course would be nothing but the software and would handle all the grading, too. No living, breathing instructor would be needed for oversight." But, never fear, the opposite side is presented too.

This article posed another question for me to learn and identify the access for an educatinoal community having reach to the equipment to use technolgies. The artilcle identifies a campus population and access to computer. Also, stating the literacy of the campus and use of equipment that access technologies.

Just some interesting information of what is going on at CCC. There is not mention of anything technology related. Should there be?
