Edpuzzle is a Web-based application that allows instructors (and students) to upload videos or use pre-existing streaming videos from YouTube or Vimeo and overlay test/assessment items to create a more interactive lesson. Instructors can stop videos at anytime and present assessment items to check for understanding. Videos become lessons and engaging presentations. Video Everywhere is a new technology tool that I am exploring as a way to introduce video into my online classes. I plan to use this tool to introduce my students to each module in my online classes. Video Everywhere recordings benefit all students who need repetitive review of material and feedback. Video assists deaf students as well by allowing them to record and share sign language. Video Everywhere helps students who are enrolled in classes that are taught in non-native languages, giving them exposure to vocabulary and pronunciation according to their Web Site. I am looking forward to incorporating this tool into my classes.

Probably a site most have heard of before, but well worth the look if you haven't. Basically, it's one man who sits at his computer with a slate and narrates videos explaining an idea/technique as demonstrated on a simple whiteboard. I tried Jing only a couple of weeks back and I have already made over 40 videos for use in my classes.

I was referred to this product by a colleague and it is really easy to use. I use it to record video solutions for my math review. Jing also works with Camtasia, which allows you to edit your Jing videos, as well as convert them into other media types such as mp4.

I was having trouble get acquanited with Diigo. This video helped me so much.

New York Times technology blogs are located here. The articles are very current. I (as a teacher) will probably benefit from these sites as much as my students. I plan on posting the YouTube "Blogs in Education" video along with these blogs, because the video gives a good description, application and history of blogs.

Excellent FREE site for math and sciences. All grade levels. Short video clips using a blackboard with verbal direction. Great depth of content available. Would be helpful to post on course site, saving you from creating the videos.
