This site is potentially an excellent resource for classical music recordings. I checked out a few of the links to recordings and discovered that they were not completely intact, however, it is a great starting place when looking for specific recorded materials or to share with students.

This organization is devoted to technology for music education. They have conferences, review products, and provide resources for schools and individuals.

TED is a great site for any subject. It is filled with videos and articles on a wide array of topics. Topics are basically limitless.

A new music notion software review which is available for Mac and Windows. ScoreCloud could seemingly be of interest to anyone looking to enhance their line of music technology assisted learning or for your own music technology needs.

This free downloadable version of Finale NotePad is great for basic composition projects. The software boasts its "Human Playback" feature which is designed to demonstrate expressive musical nuances, giving it a more realistic sound rather than being merely computer generated. NotePad has excellent sound quality and includes over 128 built-in instrument voices.

A free download for basic music notation. You have the ability to make simple scores and compose exercises or any music really for several different instruments. A great introduction into the full Finale product and an easy tool for students to use on simple composition projects.

110 free music education apps, available on the App store, and are organized into multiple folders ranging from listening and sound exploration to instruments and ear training. Great resource for a wide range of music technology to use for classroom instruction!

8notes.com provides an incredible variety of free and subscription based printable music for instrumentalists and vocalists. The site categorizes the music by instrument, composer, level of difficulty, etc. This is a great resource to share with students who are looking for solo or ensemble repertoire ideas, in addition to rock/pop, jazz, and world music selections for personal enrichment and entertainment purposes. 

Beethoven is my favorite composer and this site has many great resources as well as many links to other great resources (see the "links" tab).

All schools need to embrace world music as a means of stopping racism and prejudice!  Also, world music is super fun to teach!

If you have the chance to take your students to this place, do it!  So many of the best artists in the US got their start here!

Resource for UF Masters in Music Education. I love this resource primarily for the fun and interactive nature that the games provide to my classroom. There are plenty of resources such as lessons, pre-made assessment, and videos. However, the games allow students to enjoy learning through assessment and interactive scenarios.

This website is a great resource for beginning to integrate technology into your classroom. There are ready-made lesson plans, as well as fun activities to do with your students. There are worksheets on theory, lessons on piano, and so much more.

This is a document from an OMEA clinic from February 6, 2014 that was given by Dr. William Bauer. The document describes TPACK as well as links to Music Learning Activity Types; Digital Musicking and K-12 music learning activity types. This is a good resource for uncovering other pertinent links for resources relevant to our Technology Assisted Music Learning class. 

Music K-8 is a popular site among elementary/middle school classroom music teachers. The popular magazine is full of great ideas, music, games, articles, and musical performance programs. A very useful aspect of the website is the "Idea Bank" which is located in the Resources tab. Subscribing to the idea bank list allows music teachers to instantly interact, discuss, and share with colleagues across the nation. The diverse wealth of resources available here are sure to be helpful in every kindergarten through 8th grade music class.

The Children's Music Workshop website provides numerous resources for students, parents, and educators involved with band or orchestra.  It includes advocacy information for parents and helpful videos for students that show the basics of each instrument.
