The site does not contain actual musical content, but rather information for use by music teachers. 

The National Jukebox serves as an archive for older recordings from a variety of genres. The purpose of the site is to provide public access to recordings in the Library of Congress collection. The site contains a variety of musical recordings that could be used by teachers, students, or the everyday music consumer. 

Digital Trombone is an excellent resource for trombonists and teachers. The purpose of the site is to provide lessons, tips, recordings, and newsletters for trombonists as well as other brass instrumentalists. The site also contains a variety of recordings by trombone soloists, jazz bands, and trombone quartets. The site could serve as a resource for students seeking professional recordings as well as instructional information. 

This is a site that I use frequently. Not only does the site provide useful information regarding musical ensembles and private instructors for those who live within the institute's service region, but it also serves as a resource for videos and recordings of professional clarinet players students may use as models. Furthermore, the site contains a variety of sheet music for all band and orchestra instruments. Sheet music may be downloaded from the site, or entire libraries may be purchased on a CD containing pdf files. This site makes access to solo and other forms of music literature a breeze! 

This is an excellent website that students may use at home or in a computer lab to practice melodic interval identification. The purpose of the sight is to provide students with recordings of intervals and uses a multiple item response format. The musical content of the site is limited to recordings of melodic intervals. 

This site is provided by the music technology teachers at Green Acres Middle School in Birmingham, Alabama. The site is a very useful resource for both music technology and general music teachers. The purpose of the site is to provide online lessons, quizzes, practice opportunities, and assistance with music theory. The site contains a variety of simple piano practice pieces such as "Jingle Bells," "All Through the Night," "Ode to Joy," and many others. 

This page was authored by Arthur Lehman who played euphonium in the President's Own U.S. Marine Band. The page discusses intonation issues facing wind bands. The purpose is to discuss causes of poor intonation and it also provides some diagnostic information. The page also contains links to professional recordings of euphonium players which could serve as a valuable resource to young low brass musicians. 

This site contains helpful teaching tips and strategies for low brass. The tips were authored by Richard Murrow who is the principal tubist with the East Texas Symphony. The purpose of the resource is to provide a step by step process for teaching embouchure and the first tones for low brass beginners. Other tips are offered as well such as posture, how to hold the instrument, and tips about responsible teaching. The site does not contain musical content, but rather provides information that will prepare students to begin studying musical exercises.
