A site with free digital resources for building online course content. Adding links to pages for students is a good first step, but making it visually stunning has been a challenge for me. These free resources allows to spice up the visual layout of course pages.

This site links every computer key to a unique sound and visual effect. It could be used as a lead in for composition, especially relating to digitally created beats.

I've used this site with students playing boomwhackers along with the animation. It's very easy for children to use and provides a great tool for visually representing sound and fractions (both in relation to the tube length and also the beats in the measures).

One of the best items about Tonal Energy is the tuner App. The TE Tuner provides a visual representation beyond the original needle and shows the students proper intonation through a smiley face and colored circles.

The San Francisco Kids website offers students many musical activities from listening, performing, composing and even conducting. I think that my elementary music students would love this site, and that it would also work well on the SMARTboard in class. I think the visuals would keep students engaged, and excited about music learning.

This would be great to use in the classroom instead of printing out song sheets or handing out old textbooks.

Piktochart has both free and premium accounts. This infographic and presentation maker is a fabulous way for students tap into their visual creativity and present research in the form of an infographic. The possible applications of this in music classes are endless.

A software tool to create visual 'bubble' maps representing the musical form of user provided audio files in mp3, wav, or m4a formats. This is the software that I reviewed for Module 5, and it just works for the purpose it was created. Educational and at the same time just plain fun to play around with!
