This podcast site is for educators to discover new ideas in music education and technology while listening to the voices of Joseph Pisano and Darren Morton talk about those ideas. This site is meant to give quality opinions on the latest trends in education. PodOmatic includes podcast on certain music education and technology topics, videos of marching bands performing, and the ability to create your own podcast dealing with music issues. There are websites included that direct one other podcasts from followers of the website and educators.

This community website is for children to share songs, build communities themselves, and create ideas with other children which will allow growth as a students and music lover. The purpose of this site is to give adults and students feedback on events happening, gatherings of music lovers, and to give insight into the quality of music. This site includes children's links to other websites such as Kids Music Connection and Children's Radio List. It also articles that include songs to sing, literacy learning, and events that take place within different regions of the United States.

This is a great site to utilize for music history lessons! It has popular american songs and composer biographies to use for student read alouds or assessments. I will definitely be coming back to this site in the next few weeks!

Great site for any music teacher! For those who have ever struggled with catchy bulletin board music themes, this site has a ton of kits to download and use all throughout the year. The themes range from seasons, to advocacy, to careers in music. Of course, they do not come for free. If you are willing to shed some cash, they are all around $6.00. Otherwise, if you can recreate them on your own, then that will save your pockets some stress! In any event, this will definitely be a bookmark for the ages!

This site allows you to organize and schedule music lessons. It also gives an opportunity for feedback to parents. If parents have questions, you can answer their questions between lessons through the use of this site. If you choose, you can also track a student's practice on their instrument.

It has links to a number of music technology sites, and includes inspirational quotes as well! It's a handy go-to site for teachers looking for an all-inclusive music tech website.

This site offers an outstanding compilation of free internet resources on music education. Included in this site is information on technology assisted teaching; books, guides and other tools for teachers; posters; and free downloads.

This site provides instructional information and projects for anyone wishing to learn about sound mixing. There is a lot of good information and links to resources. This would be a good site for a recording technology class to visit.

A great site for music parents, this is a great site to direct parent to or to use as a resource for the instructor himself with many useful links connecting to ways to approach music students, parents, and administrations for both instructional and advocacy scenarios.

An extremely useful site to peruse free music for download in various categories like orchestral and chamber music parts. I have frequently used this for myself and students when faced with auditions that I/they need an "original" part to.

The great Vic Firth. Ya site has so. Any resources for the modern percussionist and instructor, from concert technique to marching technique to drum set, This site has it all, with videos and podcasts that you can subscribe to.

On this PDF, there are many links that connect to music sites that students can use. All of the programs are "in the cloud". Students can access these from any computer, at home, school or on the road. All sites are included to facilitate musical creativity.

This is a document that is a resource for creativity and technology for music learning put together by Dr. William Bauer for the FETC in Orlando, Florida on January 31, 2014. Other headings include: technology to facilitate musical creativity and general cloud-based technologies useful for facilitating musical creativity. This page is an excellent resource to develop ideas for learning with technology in the classroom. Many of the programs are free, easy to use and applicable to many educational ideas.  

Musical Creativity in the Cloud is a Google Doc by Dr. William I. Bauer. It is a list of resources to integrate technology into the music classroom and encourage creative thinking. Each item on the list will facilitate organization, creativity, or music learning. Dr. Bauer comprised a list of fifty resources to integrate technology into the music classroom including notation software, cloud-based libraries, media players, and organizational tools.

The woodwind fingering guide is the best resource for finding specific fingering charts for every woodwind instrument.  The woodwind fingering guide provides multiple fingerings for every note and specific fingering charts for every instrument relating to alternate fingerings, trill fingerings, and other extended techniques.  This resource is excellent for students who are starting a new instrument or wish to learn new notes.

This site has in depth fingering charts for each woodwind instrument. There are handy trill and tremolo fingerings. Also, there are alternate fingerings when pitch issues need to be corrected. This is not an updated site or pretty by any means, but it gets the job done and is a good resource for instrumental teachers.

Brandon Haskett's Music Education Blog is a new resource for me to be able to get steel pan music that is scored. Even my students can go on the site and get the lead sheets. This site good also because it is free.

A music theory and performance site for beginning through advanced musicians. It is filled with articles to help teachers and students as well as downloadable and printable sheet music, a bookstore, and customizable lessons for students. There is a free subscription to this site on the homepage.

This website provides music educators with connections to MIDI, Mp3, Smartboard, and other music technology resources.

Site includes paid and free resources that provide technology to the music classroom as well as sites that provide feedback on those resources. This is a great website for teachers are interested in providing their students more technology in the classroom. 

This is another Orchestra-sponsored website with fun activities for kids. It can be used during spare time, or units could be developed around it. The game I found which I liked in particular is called "Beethoven's Baseball". You get to pick your composer team, and then click on Beethoven to throw the "pitches", which are questions. The game keeps your score and is interactive. The website also has a "listen by composer" section, as well as other instructions for activities including making your own instrument.

This site provides insight on instrument timbres, symbol and note recognition, reinforce knowledge on composers, and more! In terms of composers, this site covers composers from as early as the Renaissance era to present.

Dallas Symphony Orchestra's website specifically for kids. Provides games, activities, and several listening examples. Can be used at home or in the classroom.

This composition site through Classics for Kids gives two levels of composing- beginner and advanced. A great variety of notes to be used (there are dotted rhythms in the advanced level), and students can drag the notes/rests easily to where they'd like to on the staff. This site is great for teaching composition, beats, time signature, treble clef staff and notes.
