"Web Audio API Oscillators" is a web page based on Middle Ear website. It has valuable information on how to generate sound using a web browser. It also contains links to interesting sound apps.

This is the link to the Florida Elementary Music Educators Association, a subdivision of FMEA. It contains important information for elementary music teachers such as All State, upcoming conferences, and scholarships. Teachers can use this to find information on upcoming workshops and grant applications.

On this PDF, there are many links that connect to music sites that students can use. All of the programs are "in the cloud". Students can access these from any computer, at home, school or on the road. All sites are included to facilitate musical creativity.

This is a document that is a resource for creativity and technology for music learning put together by Dr. William Bauer for the FETC in Orlando, Florida on January 31, 2014. Other headings include: technology to facilitate musical creativity and general cloud-based technologies useful for facilitating musical creativity. This page is an excellent resource to develop ideas for learning with technology in the classroom. Many of the programs are free, easy to use and applicable to many educational ideas.  

Musical Creativity in the Cloud is a Google Doc by Dr. William I. Bauer. It is a list of resources to integrate technology into the music classroom and encourage creative thinking. Each item on the list will facilitate organization, creativity, or music learning. Dr. Bauer comprised a list of fifty resources to integrate technology into the music classroom including notation software, cloud-based libraries, media players, and organizational tools.

Tonal Energy provides individualized instruction and videos for band and orchestra students. Each instrument is listed and linked to a fingering chart, exercises, scales, instrument care, and videos of professional artists. The website also has a place for discussion between other musicians, teachers, and students. One of the best items about Tonal Energy is the tuner App. The TE Tuner provides a visual representation beyond the original needle and shows the students proper intonation through a smiley face and colored circles.

This page has posted audio files of all of the North Carolina All-State Solos each year. It is updated each fall to provide the appropriate solo for students and teachers to listen to for reference. By looking at the All-State Solo List linked on this page, a teacher can find the name of each solo and use these resources for music listening projects, or modeling examples.

This website contains a link to a technological music instrument based on a synthesizer and weather sensors. The sensors transduce a variety of weather elements into electrical current that is interpreted by a synthesizer live all year long.

Free online recording device with unlimited recording time! Great cloud-based tool for recording practice sessions. After done recording students can easily submit a link to their recording as part of their practice logs.

This website is part of the School Band and Orchestra page. It contains links to concert band repertoire reviews. Reviews are posted by Frank Ticheli, however he does not necessarily write the reviews. This is a great resource when considering music for future concerts.

Written by Melanie Spanswick, this is a great blog for music educators who focus on teaching the piano.  It includes reviews of method books, smartphone apps, and provides links to helpful videos and podcasts.

Purpose of this resource: Chordify is a useful website for determining the chord progressions of almost any song. Musical Content: Chordify allows users to upload or link to recordings and analyze the chord structure. This works for all genres, including classical music. The chords are displayed in text form, and you can follow the chord changes through the piece while your original file plays. Other information: When using Chordify, educators should double-check the chords. Files with extra sounds (such as applause) can cause the program to add extraneous chords, and suspensions/inversions are not written out. This resource is still helpful for score analysis, and even for choral directors with limited keyboard proficiency. Chord changes can be written in to concert music to allow for a simpler harmonic accompaniment when teaching.

It provides links and contact information for initiatives, such as advocacy, and mentorship. It also provides resources for various professional development opportunities, as well as lists music education job openings in the area.

It provides information about events for marching bands that take place all over, scores from competitions, links to competitive high school bands that can be found on the web, and a directory of incredibly useful resources for marching bands. The website also includes articles about new and innovative aspects of marching bands.
