Commoncraft make some excellent videos which provide a helpful introduction to many Web 2.0 applications such as RSS feeds, blogging, social networking, wikis etc. These videos are available in YouTube, but Commoncraft are now making them available via their own website under a creative commons licence.

A web-based tool, Continuity of Care Online Simulations (COCOS), was designed for use in a one-month, postgraduate clinical rotation in endocrinology. It is an interactive tool that simulates the continuing care of any patient with a chronic endocrine disease. Twenty-three residents in internal medicine participated in a study to investigate the effects of using COCOS during a clinical rotation in endocrinology on pre-post knowledge test scores and self-assessment of confidence.

Intute is a free online service providing a database of hand selected Web resources for education and research. These resources can't be downloaded and so embedded in local teaching resources but you can link out to these sites from local resources or refer students to these websites.
