This website contains a very elaborate version of guided meditation steps. In my technology presentation, I will be simplifying these steps to make them easier to remember.

Not comfortable with guiding a meditation? Let someone else do it for you. There are many Youtube videos less than 10 minutes long that can aid in the guided meditation process.

If using Binaural Beats in a classroom, students will need headphones and their own laptops to listen to the samples, MP3s or WMAs. A guided meditation with Binaural Beats would consist of the facilitator guiding the process before the actual sounds are played as interruption could potentially ruin the effectiveness of the activity.

A multitude of imagery can be used to aid in the process of guided meditation. A facilitator can use a hypnotic image such as this one; but, has many other options as well, such as a picture of majestic mountains, running water, or a sunset looming in the distance.
