This ever-growing library consists of totes containing a hard copy of a book, a Literacy Planner, a Reading Communication Board, props, and more! Many of the resources created/reproduced come from sites including KizClub (http://kizclub.com) for props, Baltimore City Schools (http://bit.ly/BCSchools) for Boardmaker visual supports, Making Learning Fun (www.makinglearningfun.com) for theme-based activities.
Tutorial/cheat sheet on adding the Voice Comment feature on the Quick Access Toolbar in MS Word 2007 to easily create voice recordings in the document. Great tool for student and teachers!
Cheat sheet created by the Loudoun County Public Schools' Assistive Technology Team on using the Boardmaker Plus v. 6 Symbolate tool. Type in the text, or copy and paste it from a document or the Internet, and the graphics will appear with the text. It also has a text to speech feature that reads the text aloud. Provides wonderful supports for struggling readers and English language learners!
Our apologies. There is inaccurate information on this page of the Calendar. The statement "School employees can have the monthly fee (approximately $30) taken directly from your paycheck" is inaccurate. It should read "County employees can have the monthly fee (approximately $30) taken directly from his or her paycheck." The version on http://lcps.org/at has been altered to remove the wording altogether.
Our apologies for the misinformation,
Loudoun County Public Schools
