"GPAT has developed resources to assist educational teams in the implementation and integration of assistive technology into instructional activities. These resources address the development of assistive technology intervention plans and technology enhanced lesson plans. Sample lesson plans related to state educational standards are also available. These lesson plans include set-up and follow-up activities for each lesson. Tutorials, technology tips, and supplemental materials are also provided."

The Implementation Toolkit was designed for you! It provides hundreds of real-life resources and examples that promote successful communication in daily life using AAC. Use the resources for your personal growth or to train others. The resources found in the Toolkit cover topics related to AAC, its users and the people who support them. A variety of print materials, as well as instructional videos, feature essential information about AAC, lesson and therapy plans, techniques for communication partners, an introduction to our language software, InterAACt, and much more! The Toolkit is easy-to-use and will save you valuable time. Learn about common AAC topics using the "Learning Paths" tab, and find resources quickly using the "Search Resources" tab. You can also save selected resources to "My Favorites" so you can access them efficiently each time you visit.

The classroom offers a large collection of learning resources, which are designed to support implementation of any AAC system that is based on core words. All resources in the Core Word Classroom are developed around fundamental best practices in AAC.

Episode #101 of the A.T.TIPSCAST features a brief discussion about what comes next in one's personal quest to learn more about the implementation of the Universal Design for Learning framework.

It can be difficult at first to shift from thinking about AAC in pre-programmed phrases and sentences and activity based pages to focusing on using core words. Once the shift is made; however, it becomes easy to look at using core words in natural, everyday occurrences as core words make up 75-80% of everyone's daily, natural language. Listed below are daily activities that typically occur in a classroom and ways to use core words during these activities at the one-word, two-word, and three-word level to help get the thinking process started. Notice how many of the core words and phrases can be used throughout the day in various situations and activities.

It has embedded text, picture and video supports to assist teams in building their knowledge of assistive technologies as well as their capacity to implement AT assessments."
