Overview A how to site that has instructions for a multitude of things. It claims to have over two million articles. The intended audience is anyone looking to learn a skill. Content Content is clear and easy to understand. Multimedia works well and is useful. Site links work but sponsored links are not identified so it is easy to end up in an advertisement. Design Website is easy to read and navigate. There are many multimedia resources that add to the information available. Some pages may have too many links to quickly find the information you need.

Overview This site is the Centers for disease control and preventions online resource. Intended audience is anyone looking for more information about a specific disease or health issue. The site is full of information on most health issues you may face. Specific disease name is likely necessary as this site contains so much information. Content The pages are clearly written, references are sited, and many pertinent links are provided. Design The sight is simply designed, mostly text. Alphabetical links at the top of the home page allows quick access to all pages.

Overview This is the official site of the American Lung Association. The intended audience is anyone with lung disease and friends and relatives of those with lung disease. The pages load quickly, are easy to read and contain useful information. Pages contain multiple links to help quit smoking, clinical trials, and more detailed information by disease. Content The homepage is well organized with broad easy to find categories that link to various pages with more in-depth information. The pages then have more information and links to current news and medical research Design The site is well designed, easy to navigate and looks good. Each page loads quickly. The graphics are helpful and the links work.

Overview The purpose of this site is educational for lower elementary students; its audience is therefore mainly elementary students but also parents and educators as they are the ones who may be interested in exploring the site to discover its usefulness for their children or students. This site contains many educational online interactive games for lower elementary kids that help mostly with reading and mathematics but it also has some other interactive options for other topics relevant to elementary students. Content and design Overall based on the content and design evaluations this site seems to be a good site worth bookmarking at least for use with elementary students. The design makes it visually attractive to the students it is intended for and it makes it easy for them to navigate the site. From observing a kindergarten class navigate the site it was apparent that they were able to go where they were told to with ease and then when they were allowed to explore more on their own they did so with ease.

Overview The purpose of this site is an online encyclopedia for art meant for anyone interested in finding out more about anything pertaining to art. This site has many options for how you want to search the site such as by the artist name, the medium used, subject, location etc. This site draws information about art from many sources and compiles them so they are in one easy searchable place on the site. Content and design Based on the content and design evaluations of this site it is very well designed and easy to use. It's an online data base for art and so the content all relates to art and is easy to search. This site is not very interactive besides the links you can click to find more information but that doesn't take from the effectiveness of the content. Also the site doesn't provide a lot of information on the author in order to determine the credibility but it is noted that the information comes from a variety of places and is all compiled onto this site.

Overview The purpose of this site is to be a public online library/digital archive with access to information and images that are public domain. The intended audience is anyone as it is an online library with a search bar that enables anyone to search for what they wish. This site allows visitors to browse through the collections catalog or type in a search into the search bar and it also allows for people/contributors to share their collections after the creators/sponsors of the site review their submission. Content and design This is a good site to use if you know specifically what you are looking for and can search for it in the search bar at the top of the site. Browsing through the collections catalog and exploring other aspects of the site can be slightly difficult to find what you are looking for. Some of the links to information or content the site claims to have don't function correctly. The design of the site could use some improvement because there seems to be no organization on the main page, but overall this site could be a useful place to look for information on a certain topic of interest.

Elizabethan Era Allison Cetak 10/11/12 Overview The subject matter of this site is life, culture, and all related topics that pertain to Elizabethan England. The purpose of this site is to educate students of history or literature about all aspects of life, culture, and all related topics during Elizabethan England. The audience of this site is students of history or literature who want to know more about any aspect of Elizabethan England. This site contains information pertaining to any aspect of Elizabethan England someone could want to know. This site is well organized, credible, and has sufficient information to give readers a thorough picture of life during this era. Content The content of this site is thorough and easy to navigate. It contains information about all aspects of life during the Elizabethan Era. It is grammatically and syntactically correct, educates readers without overwhelming them, and provides sufficient support and detail to back up every claim that it makes. The site also has an authorship page which details who wrote the information and where it came from, making it credible and able to be inquired about if necessary. Design This site is designed extremely clearly and is easy to follow. The home page offers different aspects of Elizabethan life to explore and within each of those pages information is clearly labeled. The information is updated and the dates are posted making it clear how recent the information is. The links to each page within the site work well, quickly, and do not lag. Overall, the design helps enhance the content and does not detract from the information.

Elizabethan England Life Allison Cetak 10/11/12 Overview The subject matter of this site is life during Elizabethan England. The purpose of this site is to educate students of history or literature about all aspects of life during Elizabethan England. The audience of this site is students of history or literature who want to know more about any aspect of Elizabethan England. This site contains information pertaining to any aspect of Elizabethan England someone could want to know. However, while the content scores were good in my review, there was no information about the author, who wrote the information, or if it was ever updated. The only reason that I knew that the information was good was because I have done quite a lot of research about this topic. Also, the design of the website was not great because it contained many pop ups, ads, and links that had nothing to do with the content. Content Within this site, the actual information was great, extremely thorough and detailed. However, due to the fact that there was no credits page or authorial page, I do not think that this information can be used credibly. Although it was good information, as I mentioned previously, I know it is good information because I have done extensive research on this topic using other websites and books. Overall, the lack of information about the author discredits all the information on this site for me, despite the fact the information just so happened to be correct. Design The homepage of this site is not attractive at all. It contains advertisements and pop ups that are completely unrelated to the subject matter at hand. That said, the organization of the actual content was good and easy to follow, which made for easy consumption. However, as previously mentioned, despite the good organization and easy reading, the content is not backed by anything making it null and void as far as I'm concerned.

Queen Elizabeth Allison Cetak 10/11/12 Overview This website's subject matter is Queen Elizabeth as well as the culture surrounding the entirety of her reign over England. The audience is anyone who is a student of history or literature and is interested in learning more about Queen Elizabeth and Elizabethan culture. The purpose of this site is to give readers and historians peer reviewed and historically accurate information about this time period by supplying them with facts backed up with examples, real life application, and historical points where instances have occurred. This website contains highly specific and accurate information that is regularly updated as new information comes to light. Also, the organization, clarity of content, and supported information makes this site a great resource for someone seeking to further his or her knowledge of Queen Elizabeth and Elizabethan England. Content This website is the best website I have seen relating information about Queen Elizabeth. The content is accurate, thorough, and contains new information that I did not know. Also, the content loads quickly, educates viewers without adding extra information, and is grammatically and syntactically correct. The content is regularly updated and dates when the updates take place are included. Lastly, the author of the site is identified and is available to be contacted with questions, concerns, or comments. Design This website is extremely well designed. The site contains a variety of information relating to Queen Elizabeth. The best part of the site is that it guides viewers through Elizabeth's entire rule over England, from beginning to end while putting information into timely context. By designing the site this way, it allows for easy processing for viewers. Again, the revision dates are readily available which means that the content is current and accurate. Melanie Hays 10-10-12 Overview: The purpose of this website is to help students learn formulas and equations needed to help them with their assignments. It has many other purposes as well, such as tutoring, games, and other useful tools. The audience for this website is students in math grades K-12. It contains reference websites to visit if more help was needed. It is useful for students struggling remembering formulas and in need of assistance remembering them. Overall, I was very pleased with the website and found it extremely useful for students needing help with their math homework, or just with concepts in math in general. I was also pleased with the fact that it provided games and tools for students of all ages. Content: The website's content was without a doubt accurate. It contained information that is proven to be correct, and achieves its intended purpose. The site's material was current and very relevant for what it was designed for. The site obtains help for students from basic math, all the way through calculus. Design: The website is very well organized and easy to understand. It is user-friendly and designed in an appropriate way. It is appealing to younger students, as well as young adults.

Melanie Hays 10-10-12 Overview: The purpose of the website is to provide viewers with answers to trivia questions. The audience could really be anyone, depending on the trivia question he/she is searching. This website is extremely useful when needing answers to random questions. There is a search box and you can ask it a question and it will help find an answer. The search can be done alphabetically or by category, which is can be of great use. Overall, this site definitely accomplishes its main goals and can be used to help get quick answers. Content: The content of the website was proven to be accurate and very informative. It seemed to be well-organized and the information was sufficient and related to my purposes. All of the information found seemed to be up to date as well. Design: The design of the website was not too exciting. It was definitely easy to navigate and simple. The website had a search bar and wasn't complicated at all.

Melanie Hays 10-10-12 Overview: The purpose of this website is to provide resources and discussions on the learning of mathematics. The audience is mainly math teachers and students in math classes. It had many additional links a person could click on to access more ways to help a mathematics learning environment succeed. Overall, I was very impressed with the website. It could be used to incorporate modern technology in the teaching of mathematics. Content: The content of the website is very relevant to what the purpose of the site is. It also seems to be updated rather frequently and would be very useful to help math teachers come up with new ways to teach their students. Design: The design of the website is very appealing to the eye. It is very easy to navigate and was set up in such a way that has clear headings and explains what each available link will lead the viewer to.

Overall: The purpose of this site is to help learners in certain subjects of science.  It has a lot of information about multiple subjects of science, along with a lot of diagrams to guide students in the subjects that the help is needed for.  It gives links that add insight to the subject in question, and describes everything clearly.  I was very impressed with the content in which this website contained.   Content: The content within this website is very helpful and it contains a lot of information for learners interested in the sciences.  It has information for Chemistry, Biology, Earth Science, Physics, etc.  And it even has interactive animations for each subject.  It has links to other sites in case the information provided is not helping as well.  Content wise this is a very well put together website. Design: The overall design is a little bland, but it also is very easy to navigate.  There is a table of contents and everything is "self-explanatory".  When you navigate to one section of the website it keeps the table of contents along with it so that you can navigate from any part of the website.  There is a help button just in case you get lost as well. 

Overall: This site's purpose is to help people with physics. It can be for students, teachers, and anyone in general that has a question relating to the topic of physics itself. It doesn't give any outside sources such as links to other sites, but it serves its' purpose. I do not like its' design, but its' content is very useful Content: The content is very useful in regards to physics. Anyone can ask a question, and people who are more familiar with the subject will answer it. There are thousands of questions are already answered, so your question may already be answered. The content goes over everything physics related possible. I could not find a revision date though. Design: The design is quite bland, and the website itself is somewhat hard to navigate. There is no real table of contents. There is a list of related subjects within the world of physics, but once you navigate from the homepage it is very hard to navigate through what remains of the website.

Overall: I am not exactly sure as to the overall purpose of the website is. The information that I used for the webquest was chemistry related whereas most of the website has youtube videos associated to many different things. It is a blog so it is most likely intended for a broad audience. I am not impressed with any aspect of the site. Content: The content of the website is not clear in any way shape or form. There is scattered information about multiple subjects throughout the website (blog). There is little information that is useful. Most of what is given is very recreational. Design: The design of this website is also very poor along with the content. It is very hard to navigate. There is no official table of contents. There is a list of archives, but not a list of relative topics. There are no links to relative topics, and there is not anything to help you navigate through the site either. Very poorly designed.
