How this influenced my thinking: it taught me more about morality and what influences and what stages an individual will go through. Credibility of source: seems credible it sources information and has two different authors.

Title- why religion matters author-Patrick F. Fagan date-Jan 25th 1996 why relevant and summary- this site provided many supporting examples as to how religion influences a child's upbringing. This give my paper some depth and intertwined different view points. how this influenced me- i wasn't really influenced by this site because it didn't add anything that i hadn't heard before. It might influence a person more if they are not as familiar with religion, specifically Christianity, as i was. credibility-the site seems pretty credible. It is a .org website, and was written by someone with a PHD in his area of study.

Title:Why I Love My 50-Year-Old Body Date Published: January 7, 2013 Author: Dr. Lisa Kaplin Why Relevant and Summary: this article is relevant because it talks about the body at age 50. it tell people to love their body and not to discourage or be ashamed of it. it explains how to maintain being healthy and hoe to eat right at 50. it is a useful article for those who have body image issues at an older age. How This Influenced My Thinking: this made me realize that people have major body image issues even after they are older. it makes me stop and think that even through all that these older folk have been through, somehow the image that is distilled on the younger generation caught up to the older generation and made them want to be in their 20's all over again when their bodies were at the peak of being viewed as beautiful. Credibility: it was published by a doctor who has study within this field. seem pretty credible to me.

This article also outlines many key factors that may come into play when middle aged adults decide to get a divorced. How has this influenced my thinking: It didn't, but it was interesting to see the shocking fact that divorce rates were highest among middle aged adults. How This Influenced My Thinking: I already knew about it, but actually having a study to support this claim, made it even more reliable. I think studies like this influence future parents in their quest to stimulate their babies learning in the womb. Credibility of Source: It was publish in the health and science section of the New York Times, and the study is conducted by a University.

Title: Babies Seem to Pick Up Language in Utero Author: Nicholas Bakalar Date: 07 January 2013 Why Relevant and Summary: This article talks about the researches and experiments that are taking place to give people more information on how babies pick up language while still in the womb. Babies hear their mother's voice all the time after about 30 weeks. Once the baby is born he/she knows their mother's voice because it is so familiar. The babies that are involved in the studies have pacifiers that have tape recorders embedded in them to record the sucking noise. How This Influenced My Thinking: I have always heard that it is good for babies to listen to classical music because it increases their learning abilities, but to know that prenatal learning is important and has a positive effect blew my mind. This website continues by describing the stages of development and what to expect when expecting. It ends by discussing the importance of healthcare all around from environment to doctors visits. How this influenced my thinking: I was able to learn a little more on why it is imperative to consider all the different possibilities when having a child and how it is crucial that one sustains a healthy condition throughout their pregnancy in order to give their child the best outcome possible.
