It has already been told that veteran actress Sarika and South superstar Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan is all set to make her Bollywood debut. But, despite being a great actress of her time, Sarika has no intension of sharing tips with her daughter as she believes she should find her own way."Every generation has its own working style. We can share with them what we like about cinema because I don't know anything else. I only know cinema, so I can share that. But I must let my daughter find her own way because it will be different," said Sarika."I am not nervous. I am very excited. I am very glad and thankful and it's a good time. Both my girls are okay and somewhere I feel like now things are fine. They will have their own share of success and failure, but that doesn't matter," she added.For those unaware, Akshara will mark her debut with director R Balakrishnan, popularly called R Balki. She is star opposite Raanjhanaa star Dhanush. The yesteryears’ actress also revealed that her kids discuss their work with her."We discuss everything about each other's career. It's very exciting for us to do that," said Sarika, whose elder daughter Shruti is also a known name in Bollywood and South film industry. Besides, she is also praised for her singing skills.We hope Akshara makes memorable debut!

All set to be seen in upcoming action-comedy Boss, superstar Akshay Kumar revealed while promoting the Anthony D’Souza directorial, that he has this greed of doing good work, and it is in his nature to not take success for granted.He also revealed that he feels a sense of thrill doing stunts in his films, on his own, and exclusively for Boss, he has also avoided cable action. “In Boss, there is no cable action because youngsters are getting bored of it. They feel that the actors are not doing much — the cables are in all the jumps etc. In this film I have avoided cables. I just sit with my 10-year-old son and he gives me so much input. I get introduced to new music, new cinema, short films on YouTube courtesy Aarav (his son),” says Akshay.With Boss, he has turned mentors to two actors, Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari, on the same, he said, “Shiv and Aditi are both very good. The team and I thought that they would be perfect for the parts they play. He's a handsome, good-looking young boy. I really enjoyed the first film that he did —Shaitaan—he had done a very good job. Aditi works from the heart, is a very good actress, with a vulnerable face so we decided that they should be a part of our film. Shiv and I are brothers and sons to Mithun Chakraborty. As for mentoring talent, I like people with bright ideas.”Boss releases on October 16!

Superstar Aamir Khan has always been known as peace lover, and the latest it is learnt that the Dhoom3 actor has got himself a new nest.He has bought an apartment at Carter Road in Bandra. He has been staying in this locality on rent for last few months, as the renovation work is going on at his home in Marina Apartments at Pali Hill. After staying in a Carter Road flat for few months, Aamir and his wife Kiran Rao developed immense liking for the place.The flat is sea-facing, is 5,000 square feet and spread over two floors. Hence, Aamir tried to buy the entire building where his Pali Hill flat is situated. However, disappointment came his way as the residents of other flats were not ready to sell their flats, even though Aamir offered the handsome deal of Rs 80,000 per sqft to move out. However, the flat owners declined the offer.Hence, the chap was left with no option but to buy another apartment in Carter Road. He is hoping that the new place turns out to be extremely luck for him and his family!Aamir’s upcoming film is Dhoom3, and we hope it break all the previous records at the box-office!

Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan, who rarely gets to see in Hindi films, recently appeared in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s action thriller Bullett Raja opposite Saif Ali Khan  and Jimmy Shergil. He says he is a big fan of Tigmanshu’s films and was surprised when he called him for a role in his film.“My jaw dropped when I was first offered Bullett Raja. I met Tigmanshu Dhulia for the first time over dinner in Lucknow. As we were about to finish he said that I was doing his film. I was very happy to be a part of his film. I have been a big fan of him since Haasil. He makes my kind of cinema. The characters in his films are excellent,” said Ravi, who portrayed the role of a woman in Bullett Raja.He says the role was quite challenging. “This has been my most challenging role in the 22 years of my career. I have never played a woman. I also make out with a woman in the film, while wearing a sari. It's completely mad,” reveals Ravi.Produced by Fox Star Studios, Bullett Raja also features Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Grover, Chunky Pandey, Jimmy Shergil, Vidyut Jamwal and others. It was released on November 28 with mixed reviews.

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. Bachchan referred to feature films as the great passion of India cutting across all other performing arts and the Indian film industry as absorbing all religions, languages and cultures in it.“The filmy ambrosia's nectar so intoxicating that it has achieved what that no Indian politician has ever done,” said Bachchan before posing the question "In our cinema bad guys always come to no good what about in India itself? “Indian cinema has no nuclear bomb never suffers a recession but people call it is degenerate, trebling, trashy, flashy hocus-focus,” said the actor.

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one such actor who has high regard for his female actresses, and it was only few months’ back that he announced that his name would be preceded by his heroine's name in his films. And it started with Deepika Padukone, with whom he starred in Chennai Express.On his part, SRK feels that the decision was no big deal. He was speaking at NDTV-Vedanta's Our Girls, Our Pride fundraising telethon. As a believer in ‘ladies first’, SRK didn’t think that it was that big a gesture. He said, "I don't think it's a huge gesture. When I started out, I had some really wonderful ladies like Madhuri, Juhi and Sridevi helping me out with my work and as the years passed they started giving me star status and it became very embarrassing. He was also upset with the fact that in India female foeticide still exists. "It is an extremely unfortunate thought process. Akshay Kumar and dancing superstar Prabhu Deva last shook a leg in Rowdy Rathore, and now once again they are ready to match the steps yet again in upcoming film Boss, which comes out soon. It is learnt that Prabhu Deva makes a special appearance in the film.Titled Hum Na Tode Phode, the song is based on the superhit dance number Apdi Pode, and has been sung by Vishal Dadlani.

Elli Avram, the actress and model of Swedish-Greek origin, who has been eliminated from the Bigg Boss - Saath 7 house can't hide her gratitude for the warmth that the reality show's host and Bollywood star Salman Khan's extended to her during the show."I don't know why he was so nice to me. He is a big superstar. And his kindness meant a lot to me. I think he sensed that I was all alone in Bigg Boss house. The only foreigner. He helped me feel comfortable in Bigg Boss by just the way he spoke to me. Of course, I soon became comfortable in there. I've learnt a lot of Hindi in there," said Elli, who was evicted on Saturday.Elli comes out from Bigg Boss with a good feeling about most of the inmates. Recently the first look of Shah Rukh Khan’s newborn son AbRam was revealed. Even though it was not a close look, but still it mattered to his fans, as it was the first sight of SRK and his wife Gauri’s surrogate child. And AbRam’s daddy dearest has all good things to say about the little kid, as he says when his infant kid is around, everyday is a festival for the family."We are very happy that he is part of our lives. With him around, everyday is a festival for us as he is in the house," Shah Rukh said.At the same time, he revealed how disappointed his was learning about Sachin Tendulkar’s retirement. "When I heard about it I was in Australia...I learnt about it a little late...I felt bad. He has taken the decision as he understands sports better. He did a lot for cricket.
