Actress-producer Sharon Stone is presently to India where she attended an amfAR fund-raising event. The event was attended by who’s and who’s of Bollywood and she was glad to meet such well-known personalities.Stone was pleased to meet the B-town couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, and she found them very generous."Aishwarya had come to Cannes as she is the L'Oreal girl. It is very gracious of her to come here. I am looking forward to see the husband and wife today (Sunday) evening. They are so generous people," Stone told reporters before the event started.For those unaware, Abhishek and Aishwarya hosted the amfAR event on Sunday (November 17, 2013) night. Talking about India, she said that she is in love with the country, and is looking forward to see Taj Mahal. She says, "I love this country, India is beautiful. Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and veteran actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu starrer Besharam has slipped at the box-office despite a good opening. Directed by Abhinav Singh Kashyup, the film was released on October 2 over 3600 screens across the India and 700 screens overseas. Trade experts say that the movie had a good opening, but couldn’t retain the footfalls on the subsequent days.Not only critics disliked the film, but audience was not too impressed with the movie and given feedback that with Besharam, Ranbir sinks to a low. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh termed the collection of the film at box office an epic disappointment. He Tweeted, “Besharam (earned) Wednesday Rs.21.56 crore, Thursday Rs.7.13 crore, Friday Rs.5.68 crore, Saturday Rs.5.94 crore. Total is Rs.40.31 crore net. Epic disappointment!”He updated, “Besharam collects 47.31 net in its 5-day opening weekend [Wed to Sun]: Wednesday 21.56 crore, Thursday 7.13 crore, Friday 5.68 crore, Saturday 5.94 crore, Sunday 7 crore.” Also starring newcomer Pallavi Sharda, Besharam was made at a budget of Rs.60 crore in addition to the cost of promotions, marketing and advertising. “First day was good, but second day onwards the performance of the film has drastically dropped. Even on weekend, I don’t see any improvement,” Puneet Sahay of Spice Cinemas said.It is co-produced by Himanshu Mehra, Sanjeev Gupta and Reliance Entertainment.

Numero uno actress Deepika Padukone was lauded in a huge manner for her dance performance in Nagada Sang Dhol from Ram-Leela. However, if given the chance to performance again on the song, she feels it would be almost impossible for her to do it without film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.In fact, the actress feels that the song’s popularity was the least expected of the lot. "There were other songs in the album which we thought would become popular, this was the underdog. Passion is a part of every marriage, every relationship and romance. If you remove romance, there is no fun.”The 38-year-old was speaking on Friday at the launch of the show's new season, where she was accompanied by her co-judges director Sajid Khan and choreographer Terence Lewis.Sajid Khan said, Nach Baliye 6 promises dance infused with a lot of romance and passion. “There will be romance through dance, they will be marked on the basis of their dance, the audiences will vote looking at their dance. B-town actor Akshaye Khanna is the latest victim of fraudulent investment schemes, as buzz states that he has been duped of Rs. 50 lakh after he was insured of quick return from an investment scheme in the commodity market.All of this was confirmed by a police official on Sunday, as the complaint has been filed at the Malabar Hill police station. "Yes, a complaint was registered at our police station on Friday evening by Akshaye Khanna's lawyer. The current status is that the crime branch is investigating the case. Once we get any update, we can speak on that," senior inspector Vinay Bagade told media. For those unaware, Akshay has filed the complaint against Satyabrata Chakravarty and his wife Sona, president and director, respectively, of Intech Images Private Ltd, who are the prime accused of duping him of Rs. 50 lakh, after promising him that they would double it in 45 days after investing it in the commodity market. Akshaye is elder son of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, and his brother Rahul Khanna is also quite active in the film industry, Akshaye has been seen in films like Taal, Dil Chahta Hai, Humraaz, Hulchul and Gandhi, My Father.
