B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

However, now she gears up for yet another release Shaadi Ke Side Effects, where she will be seen opposite Farhan Akhtar.Director Saket Chaudhary says, "The film attempts to explain what most people fail to understand in a lifetime — what makes a marriage work!"Producer Pritish Nandy says, "The film is peppered with loads of post-marriage side effects. Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, who was recently in news for his split with controversial girlfriend Miley Cyrus, is said to have hurt his finger in a bid to make an impression on fans by playing a daring game of Five Finger Fillet in front of them.All set to be seen in upcoming film The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Hemsworth, 23, was participating in a press show when he by chance struck his finger while playing the game in which a player places his palm down, spreads his fingers and attempts to stab in between the spaces with a sharp object.Not only that he ended up hurting his finger, but in the process he also damaged a $10,000 table. While about the incident on the chat show, Hemsworth said, "It was the first stop we did on The Hunger Games press tour and I wanted to impress everyone and I'd had a couple of drinks. I missed a little bit on the little pinky - see the black dot? Apparently it was a $10,000 table as well that I ruined." Speaking about the same, Hemsworth said that he always believed that he can’t ever go wrong in this game, as he has been playing it since long. "I used to do it a lot in science class when I was in high school - I didn't love science class. So I'd sit there in this class and use my pen to do this. You start with a pen and work your way up to a knife," said Hemsworth.

The star actress Sonakshi Sinha recently attended an event held in Ahmedabad where she had to experience something bitter that was hard to bear. She was promoting her upcoming film in the event, which was organised comprised of an all female audience.When she took the stage many women mobbed on the dias covering her completely, not giving her enough space for breathing. The situation worsened when a women’s elbow hit Sonakshi’s face leaving no option for her but to leave the event immediately. The actress who had maintained a calm demeanor lost her patience and got all worked up. An eyewitness revealed, “She got irritated and decided to leave. With great difficulty her staff could make way for the actress to back to the hotel room.”Apart from this, Sonakshi Sinha recently graced the opening ceremony of 15th Mumbai Film Festival at the Liberty Cinema Hall in Mumbai. She also visited sets of Junior Master Chef on Star Plus and promoted R…Rajkumar. Sonakshi looked gorgeous in her black attire and silver ear rings that enhanced her look. It would be a completely family affair when Shatrughan Sinha’s production house Shotgun Films’ upcoming film to launch his twin sons Luv and Kush Sinha as main lead role. The production house has also signed director Umesh Shukla for its second film that will feature Sonakshi Sinha as its protagonist. The belle, who has already proved her acting powers, is excited about the re-launch of Shotgun Films. “Everybody has their own production house today. Since we have in-house actors, director and producer, it’s all sorted. Dad later went into politics. As kids we knew he was in show business but didn't look beyond that. So it's great that today we three are reviving the banner. Dad's thrilled and proud of us,” Sonakshi beamed.Does it mean the audience will get to see father-daughter sharing screen space in the coming production ventures? Sonakshi says, “I would love to. Young director Punit Malhotra, I Hate Luv Storys fame, is working with filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for the second time. He is completing in Karan’s impression and praises him as an easygoing producer.He is collaborated with Karan again for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Speaking about the work pattern of KJo’s production unit, Punit said, “As a producer Karan is lenient enough to give you whatever you want. The advantage is that he is also a director. As far as the space is concerned, he didn't come on the sets even once. As a producer, he gives you everything you want.”Earlier, Punit has attended Karan as his assistant in his hit film Kal Ho Na Ho and Dostana. About his upcoming directorial, he says GTPM is a wholesome entertainment which pulls a universal audience. But he is not targeting Rs.100-crore marks. “Rs.100 crore depends on a lot of factors. The canvas of the film leads it to that zone. Ours is definitely not in that zone. It's a fun film,” concluded Punit.Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is releasing on November 22 and the lead actors are currently busy in promotional activities. Telly industry’s one of the most sought after anchors, Manish Paul is set jump high from small screen to 70mm screen with his upcoming film Mickey Virus. He is busy doing promotions for the film which is slated to release on October 25. He is excited and feels proud to see his hoardings all over Mumbai. He says it's a dream come true.An elated lad said, “It's a dream come true. I have got a solo lead film, my hoardings are all over Mumbai...I used to see film hoardings around Juhu whenever I visited Mumbai as a kid. So, it's a dream come true.”Manish, who is sharing a screen space with debutant Elli Avram, further adds that all actors who come to Mumbai aims to do films. “I also had similar dreams when I came to Mumbai in 2005. But I thought I needed grooming. I didn't have a filmy background, and so I did television, radio jockeying and then I thought it's the right time to do films,” said Manish, who was last seen anchoring in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.Elli Avram, who hails from Greek, is currently seen in reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7.
