Hrithik Roshan, who plays superhero Krrish in the famous film franchisee, says that a superhero lies within everyone."I have always strived to imbibe good qualities and values from all the characters I have essayed through the years. B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan must be very proud of his feat as he went on to receive the Hridaynath Mangeshkar award for the third time for his contribution to the film industry. It is learnt that the prestigious award was set to be presented to Big B by great singer Lata Mangeshkar, however, she failed to make it to the event due to health issues, and hence filmmaker Subhash Ghai did the honours. "I got everything in life from Mumbai, my success, my stardom, my wife, my children and now even grandchildren. I am truly proud to be a Mumbaikar as the city has given me the most," Bachchan said after receiving the award. Also, he went on to appreciate Lata Mangeshkar at the ceremony and also promised that next time if he wins the award, he will speak in her mother tongue, which happens to be Marathi. "Lataji has been exceptionally kind to us even in past when she sang for Jaya. Sadly she couldn't make it to today's function due to her illness, yet she apologized which is too humble on her part and status. I am truly honoured by this award," he said. Keep winning, Big B!

Tinseltown actor Robert Di Niro is seen playing memorable characters like The Godfather Part II, Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. However, when he was quizzed about his real-life heroes, he named out Nelson Mandela, Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi.Niro, 70, is presently in Goa, India, where he will be participating at the ongoing THiNK Fest 2013. Sharing his thoughts, he said, "I have many real life heroes as my inspiration. Mandela, Peres, James Dean, Marlon Brando and from India... Indira Gandhi and Mahatma Gandhi. They are strong people with a big heart," De Niro said on the sidelines of the festival. "I try to be more empathetic towards my characters. I try to understand its position by putting myself in their shoes. I feel I am lucky to get into these lives without having to pay a real price," he added. When confessed that he doesn’t remember his early film days, he said, "I really don't remember..." He also said that he has no idea why he wanted to be in cinema and he started his career at the age of 16. "I dropped out of school and enrolled in Stella Adler's acting school, to the surprise of my friends and family. When she (Stella) asked me why I joined this profession, I didn't have an answer. She answered on my behalf that since I wanted to express myself so I chose this profession. I nodded and repeated the same line," he said. Speaking of Indian trip, he added, "Indian people are very nice. I came here 35 years ago and promised that I will be back in couple of years. I got busy and even tried to come last year. Actress Vishakha Singh is now a known name in Bollywood after doing films like Fukrey, Bajatey Raho and Ankur Arora Murder Case. Latest it is learnt that she is ready to do more films as she has signed on few more projects.Her upcoming films, however, are in different languages. “These are The Maya Tape (Hindi), Thurram (Telugu), The Motorcycle Diaries (Malayalam) and Valeeba Raj (Tamil),” informs a source. But one thing that comes to notice is that despite being a Punjabi, she has not acted in one yet. Still, she has many language films in South, where she will be playing a lead role. “Doing four films at a time in itself is a big deal but considering that she is a Punjabi from Delhi, doing four film and that too in different languages is really something special,” says a close associate of the actress.“The Maya Tape, in which she is playing a reporter, sees her along with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The horror thriller is being readied for release before year end while the other three would arrive in 2014. Moreover, she is also in talks to do more Hindi films, announcement of which would be made soon,” adds a source.Says Vishakha, “Yes, I am doing a lot of regional films. I realise that one should be constantly working. Moreover, South industry pays you much more as well so it is a good reason to be doing films there too.”Hope you achieve success with these films!

But well the viewers will get to see me on television next year now as I am heading for a vacation in December.”On her choice of show and character, she added, “See, television is trying to be experimental, but we all know that what work the most on TV is the saas-bahu shows. So it all depends upon the show that I am offered. If I am happy to experiment then I might take roles accordingly or else I would go with the saas-bahu saga. Post the successful launch of beau Sushant Singh Rajput, telly actress Ankita Lokhande was also looking to make debut in Bollywood. Her dream was even about to accomplish but she missed the chance. Ankita informs that she was offered Shahrukh Khan starrer upcoming film Happy New Year but things couldn’t happen in her favour. The role is now being played Deepika Padukone.Ankita, currently seen playing double role in Zee TV’s long running show Pavitra Rishta, says, “I was considered for this role, so it is a good thing. It is unfortunate it couldn't happen. I don't know why things did not work out. I think there is a prejudice against TV actors. I was working on TV, and if I was considered for it is a big thing.”Happy New Year, a story which revolves around a bunch of male friends and how situation forces them to participate in a dance competition, is being directed by Farah Khan. The female lead will apparently play the role of a bar dancer, who will help these friends win the dance trophy. It also features Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in prominent roles. It will also mark Naseeruddin Shah’s son Vivaan Shah’s debut.

Even though actor Sunny Deol is excited to work in Ghayal Returns, he feels that the project has been jinxed. Still, whatever happens, he is firm about making the film. Ghayal Returns is the second installment of the 1990 revenge action drama.Ghayal was directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. "Ghayal Returns is something which I don't want to talk about because 'usko nazar lag gayi hai kisi ki' (evil spell has been cast on the project). But it is happening for sure," said Sunny. The original film also starred Meenakshi Sheshadri and Raj Babbar. Sunny revealed that he has been putting best efforts to come up with the part two ever since the original came out. "First time, I was sure that we will make the film in the same year, but I don't know why it didn't happen. Second time when we tried, again it didn't happen. Now this is the third time and I will work on it again and I am certain that it will happen," said the actor.Earlier, buzz was making rounds that Rahul Rawail will direct Ghayal Returns, however, Sunny is not ready to come up with the director's name. Ghayal Returns will begin from where Ghayal left.

I have been learning it for a reason that someday I will get to do kathak," said Kangana. While promoting her film recently, the actress said that she got to utilize the kathak skills for one particular song in Rajjo.Speaking of the same, she said that the art can't be learnt in a month. "I have been learning classical dance for a while now, for four to five years. A song in the climax is full of kathak that you can't learn it in a week or a month. You have to rehearse for it for a long time."The film is helmed by Vishwas Patil, Rajjo, and it is releasing on November 15. It features Kangana as the protagonist.

It was in 2010 that Martin accepted being a gay, and claimed that it would be wonderful if he can successfully do that again.Martin, 41, said that he was really scared about the feedback of his peers. "I was terrified. I had to really work on my self esteem to understand that it`s all about self love, and other people`s opinions weren`t what was important," Martin wrote to a fan during a Facebook chat."What was important was accepting myself exactly as I am, as I was born. I insist, it wasn`t easy, but wow, I wish I could come out again because it felt like I could `high five` God`," he added. For those unaware, the singer has twins Matteo and Valentino via surrogacy. Earlier, the Livin` la Vida Loca hitmaker had also revealed that he used to bully those people who were gay. "I look back now and realise I would bully people who I knew were gay. I had internalized homophobia. To realise that was confronting to me. And now she is experimenting with her looks yet again for Punit Malhotra’s directorial Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, where she plays lead character Imran Khan’s fiancé.Recently the makers released the first look of the actress, who is seen in typical South Indian look. She plays a small role in the Karan Johar’s production. Her new look from the movie was released by none other than film’s director Punit on his microblogging website Twitter. In the still, she is seen in a traditional South Indian sari with red and golden border matched with a red blouse. The name of her character is Vasudha, and she has completed the look with a bindi, traditional neck piece, earrings, mangtika and flower in her hair. "Here's presenting Vasudha...The very beautiful Shraddha Kapoor," Malhotra tweeted with the picture. In the picture, it is shown that she is getting engaged with male lead Imran Khan’s character Sriram, who also essays a South Indian boy named Sriram. Kareena Kapoor plays the leading lady, and she is seen working as a social worker in the movie, and will play Imran's love interest. Gori Tere Pyaar Mein releases on November 22.

It has got a different look, different form of dancing and I didn't have time to rehearse.
