Young director Punit Malhotra, I Hate Luv Storys fame, is working with filmmaker Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for the second time. He is completing in Karan’s impression and praises him as an easygoing producer.He is collaborated with Karan again for Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, which stars Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Speaking about the work pattern of KJo’s production unit, Punit said, “As a producer Karan is lenient enough to give you whatever you want. The advantage is that he is also a director. As far as the space is concerned, he didn't come on the sets even once. As a producer, he gives you everything you want.”Earlier, Punit has attended Karan as his assistant in his hit film Kal Ho Na Ho and Dostana. About his upcoming directorial, he says GTPM is a wholesome entertainment which pulls a universal audience. But he is not targeting Rs.100-crore marks. “Rs.100 crore depends on a lot of factors. The canvas of the film leads it to that zone. Ours is definitely not in that zone. It's a fun film,” concluded Punit.Gori Tere Pyaar Mein is releasing on November 22 and the lead actors are currently busy in promotional activities. They have visited television shows like Comedy Nights with Kapil, Kone Banega Crorepati among mores.

Filmmaker Karan Johar is consistently in news for the different style of filmmaking he has brought up before all via his segment in Bombay Talkies.  Recently he bagged eyeballs for roping in YRF’s peon’s daughter in his segment to play a short role and now he has more interesting things rolling on his part.

Praising her Highway co-star Randeep Hooda, she said, "He is a great actor and helped me a lot, he made me feel comfortable. Though he is senior, he is as young as I am. It is just a perception that he is older. Rather, there were times when I was acting older and saying don't do this or that."She is also impressed with Arjun Kapoor, with whom she stars in 2 States, and think of him as extremely supportive. "He is a great actor, I loved him in Ishaqzaade. He is an amazing person. He helped me in preparing for the role," said Alia.Have a go, girl!

The maiden episode of Karan Johar’s chat show Koffee with Karan featuring Salman Khan went viral amidst the audience. It was an awe-struck beginning that one reality show could ever have. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu fame director Shakun Batra’s next would be based on the human relationships. His last film was made under Karan Johar’s production banner Dharma Productions, and this will also be produced under the same banner. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu starred Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.At present he is busy with the pre-production stage of the movie. Speaking to the sources, he said, "My next film deals with human relationships... it is a drama. I am yet to lock my script. I will show the draft to Karan and then we will take things ahead. By next month I will be able to give some details, including the star cast."You may know that with his debut directorial, he introduced the unusual pairing of Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor, which would be on-screen again with Gori Tere Pyaar mein, again produced by Karan, and directed by I Hate Luv Storys director Punit Malhotra. Recently Shakun saw the rushes of GTPM, and is all praises for it. "They both look amazing on screen. They have a sizzling chemistry. The film which is going to mark the collaboration of Karan Johar and Ekta Kapoor, Badtameez Dil, was slated for September to kick start it’s shooting. However, the much anticipated project sees a delay in shooting and will go on floor next year.Apparently, KJo and Ekta’s loss has become Kunal Deshmukh’s gain, as now he can start shooting of his upcoming film Shaatir along with Emraan Hashmi, who is now free from his dates to Badtameez Dil.   “Emraan was gearing up to shoot for Badtameez Dil but due to certain circumstances; the film is not starting as planned in the end of September. This left Emraan free,” conformed sources.
