My brother Vikram has always been attached to me and is my soulmate. After a while I started seeing my father in him and he became my pillar of strength. So much time has gone by and God has given you so much but you never recover from that pain. It's difficult to get over my father's betrayal as a protector that you expect as a young girl. After witnessing a lot new characters in Star Plus’ numero uno Diya Aur Baati Hum, soon it will see two well-known actors, Preeti Chaudhary, show impressed one and all as the lead in Colors’ Kairi and actress Maninee Mishra, who was last seen in Colors' Madhubala.Earlier, it was also reported that actors like Neil Bhatt, Alan Kapoor and Minal Mogan will enter the show as cadets who will be on the same mission of becoming IPS officers like Sandhya aka Deepika Singh.Now with the show proceeding towards the IPS track where Sandhya will start her training, the makers are not leaving any stone unturned to make the new track engaging. Hence, popular actress Maninee and Preeti will enter the show for this particular track.Preeti Chaudhary, who has been a favourite of Shashi Sumeet Mittal Production Pvt. Ltd, is happy about getting back to the makers. She averred, “It’s always nice to get back to Shashi Mam and Sumeet Sir’s show. I feel lucky to have got a second chance to work with them.”Talking about the character, Preeti said she is playing a politician. “Yes, I play a politician who comes down to Pushkar, Rajasthan from Delhi. This is when she bumps into Sandhya (Deepika Singh) the aspiring IPS officer and the story progresses heron. This character has different shades to it and the viewers will enjoy watching it,” she said.She added, “I have a very different look. In fact at the moment we are working on my haircut.
