Upcoming film Khoobsurat will be a family entertainment that has Sonam Kapoor as its leading lady, Anil Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor as its producers. It would be produced by The Walt Disney Studios and proud father Anil said it is going to be a happy venture.“My daughters have grown up watching Disney movies, so it's exciting to see this collaboration. We have worked hard on the script and are sure the film will have universal appeal,” said Anil Kapoor, who is currently enthralling TV audience with his debut show 24 on Colors channel.Talking about the upcoming family production film, Khoobsurat has just gone on floors in Bikaner, Rajasthan. It revolves around Mili (Sonam), a vivacious girl who turns the lives of a royal family upside down. For the film, Sonam, who is known for his fashion has gone to adopt a de-glam look. About the film she said, “When you look at Walt Disney's life, his whole purpose was to entertain people and make them happy. And, in this film, Mili makes things happy and Khoobsurat.”Disney UTV’s Managing Director Siddharth Roy Kapur, further added, “The script is endearing and entertaining... it will be a fun experience for the whole family.”Khoobsurat will also see Kirron Kher, Ratna Pathak Shah and Aamir Raza Hussain and being directed and  written by ad-filmmaker Shashank Ghosh. It is scheduled to hit theatres in mid-2014.

Star-actor Saif Ali Khan is someone who has made his mark in Bollywood without belonging to any camp, and has managed to maintain steady relationship with each and every actor of the industry. Recently he gave the title of his film Yaariyan to T-Series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar.This shows that the actor very well knows the value of good relations. While speaking about the same recently, Divya Khosla Kumar said that it was really kind of Saif to give away his title. "When Bhushan heard the script, he thought Yaariyan would be the apt title for the film but when we checked the title was registered with Saif Ali Khan's company. Bhushan spoke to him and without charging anything, he gave us the title free of cost. That's really generous of him," said Divya.For those unaware, the film, which stars newcomers, will release on January 10. As of now Divya is looking forward to promote the film on TV reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7, which is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. "I know Salman and he is close to Bhushan. I am happy we are going to Bigg Boss to promote the film," she said.The happy actress-turned-director Divya also didn’t forget to credit her hubby Bhushan, without whom she says that the film wouldn’t have been possible. Bhushan is the head of T-Series. "Without him, it was not possible. His support was incredible and the title was also suggested by him," she said.Best wishes for the film!

It has already been told that veteran actress Sarika and South superstar Kamal Haasan’s daughter Akshara Haasan is all set to make her Bollywood debut. But, despite being a great actress of her time, Sarika has no intension of sharing tips with her daughter as she believes she should find her own way."Every generation has its own working style. We can share with them what we like about cinema because I don't know anything else. I only know cinema, so I can share that. But I must let my daughter find her own way because it will be different," said Sarika."I am not nervous. I am very excited. I am very glad and thankful and it's a good time. Both my girls are okay and somewhere I feel like now things are fine. They will have their own share of success and failure, but that doesn't matter," she added.For those unaware, Akshara will mark her debut with director R Balakrishnan, popularly called R Balki. She is star opposite Raanjhanaa star Dhanush. The yesteryears’ actress also revealed that her kids discuss their work with her."We discuss everything about each other's career. It's very exciting for us to do that," said Sarika, whose elder daughter Shruti is also a known name in Bollywood and South film industry. The Ashtami celebrations at The North Bengal Sarbajanin Durga Puja at The Tulip Star, Juhu on 12th Oct, 2013, had celebrated Music composer, Pritam and his musicians enthrall the audience with a show that got everyone to their feet from the word go. Here’s one more high-profiled project landed in the kitty of petite actress Parineeti Chopra. She has signed another romantic film titled Daawat-e-Ishq post two hit films Ishaqzaade and Shuddh Desi Romance. The project will be directed by Do Dooni Char and Ishaqzaade fame Habib Faisal and features Aditya Roy Kapur, Karan Wahi in the male lead roles. Anupam Kher would be seen essaying supporting character in the film, which is said to be a romantic comedy.Parineeti will work for the second time with Habib, while it would be her first venture with Aditya Roy, who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2. Karan Wahi, popular TV actor who has done shows like Dill Mill Gyye, Kuch Toh Loh Kahenge, Indian Idol Junior (hosting), will make his debut with the film. Veteran actor Anupam Kher confirmed the news sharing it on his micro-blogging site, “Delighted to be part of Daawat-e-Ishq with Parineeti Chopra, Habib Faisal, Aditya Roy Kapur and Karan Wahi.”Currently Parineeti is busy shooting for director Vinil Mathew on his project Hasee Toh Phasee, being produced by Karan Johar. B-town actress Kareena Kapoor Khan is all excited about her upcoming films, however she is looking forward to the most is Dev Benegal’s film Bombay Samurai, where she will star opposite Farhan Akhtar. Career-wise things are not flourishing for Kareena, as two have her films, Satyagraha and Gori Tere Pyaar Mein failed to impress the audience.  However, she thinks that things will change with Bombay Samurai, which is a crazy zany rollicking roller coaster ride with amazing twists and turns. Sources close to the project, said, "There are seven to eight pivotal characters. But Kareena and Farhan Akhtar preside over the show.""They play a couple like no other seen before in our films. They are wacky and unpredictable. The two actors will have a ball playing their outgoing zestful characters," the sources added. It is learnt that both Bebo and Farhan are keen to work with each other. Says Farhan, "I've seen Kareena's work. She is consistently excellent. I was keen to work with her. Dev's film gives us a chance to try something different."Kareena, on the other side, "I admire Farhan for being multi-talented. Which other director has done so well as an actor? Farhan took my breath away in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. Numero uno actress Deepika Padukone was lauded in a huge manner for her dance performance in Nagada Sang Dhol from Ram-Leela. However, if given the chance to performance again on the song, she feels it would be almost impossible for her to do it without film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.In fact, the actress feels that the song’s popularity was the least expected of the lot. "There were other songs in the album which we thought would become popular, this was the underdog. In fact, I am doing a show where I am expected to recreate that magic but I don't think I'll be able to do that if I don't have Sanjay to direct," said Deepika.For those unaware, Deepika will be performing at the Temptation Reloaded show in Dubai on Sunday with stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Recently, she also completed the shooting of Homi Adajania’s directorial English film Finding Fanny Fernandes."It should be ready to release soon," she revealed. Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who had undergone a brain surgery for the removal of a clot in July this year, heads to an unrevealed location abroad for his medical treatment. He is reportedly been suffering bouts of headache and will undergo through the medical check-up to his surgery. Earlier, his brain operation was held at Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.     His director father Rakesh Roshan also confirmed his travel plan. He said on Friday, “Hrithik is leaving on Saturday. He will be going with a friend.” When asked if Hrithik would be accompanied by his parents, Rakesh Roshan said, “We'll join him if there is a need for us to do so.” Does it mean the films, Hrithik was working on has been put on hold until he will not be done with the treatment? Sources said Hrithik's next project Shuddhi, produced by Karan Johar and directed by Karan Malhotra, has been postponed to July 2014.Sources said, “Shuddhi is a story of reincarnation. Films about rebirth are always tricky to pull off. The script of Shuddhi needs more work. Hrithik's health is not the issue here, the script needs to be polished.” Hrithik Roshan has been roped in opposite Kareena Kapoor in Shuddhi.Hrithik was last seen in Rakesh Roshan’s directorial Krrish 3 that minted huge money at box-office. Many must have heard that for his upcoming Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider, actor Shahid Kapoor has agreed to go bald for the film. So talking about it recently actor Shahid said that his decision to do the same was driven by the fact that the look is necessary for his role in the movie.For those unaware, Haider is the adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. "I thought it is justified. When I read the script, I found it very interesting and I have tried to do something shocking whenever I have worked with Vishal. With him I have always tried to do something different," the actor said at a promotional event of his upcoming release R...Rajkumar on Friday. Meanwhile, at the same time, Shahid confessed that his best performance was in Vishal’s Kaminey, which came out in 2009.  "He is a phenomenal director. He has given me Kaminey. It has been the most appreciated role of my life till now. It's great working with him again. It has been a lot of fun," said Shahid, who stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film.We hope that the film changes things for Shahid, professionally!

The R...Rajkumar team unveiled the first ever custom comic for a Bollywood film at the Reliance Digital Store in Mumbai today. Producer Viki Rajani, director Prabhu Dheva and the lead pair- Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor - who looked all excited to present the fun-filled comic of their upcoming film, were present at the event.The storyline of the comic has been shortlisted from the entries sent by enthusiastic fans across the nation. The winners not only got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to feature in the comics, but were also invited and introduced at the launch.Talking about R...Rajkumar’s custom comic, producer Viki Rajani said "Movie marketing continues to become more innovative and with this film, we have attempted initiatives to reach across all mediums. I'm happy to have the first ever custom comic book for R...Rajkumar which involved direct participation by fans and showed their keen response and enthusiasm".Shahid and Sonakshi, ecstatic with the response the songs of the film have been receiving, said that they were eagerly looking forward to the release of the film. Shahid also danced to Gandi Baat, much to the delight of the crowd present at the event. Excited to feature in the comic for the first time, Sonakshi said "My brothers would always be reading comics and I would never be allowed to touch them. Presented by Sajid Nadiadwala and starring Alia Bhatt and Randeep Hooda, the film traverses six states of north India and captures the landscape of the different regions as it goes along.Highway Diaries, are short video snippets that capture the journey of the film and all the exciting experiences that the cast and crew had during its making.In the latest episode of Highway Diaries, the film crew is seen shooting on their way to Ajmer from Gurgaon. They have just crossed Haryana and the director Imtiaz Ali and his team savour the daal-roti at a dhaba near the Haryana-Rajasthan border check-post. Pointing towards the check-post, Imtiaz Ali says, “We have just crossed into Rajasthan and in that distance I think the texture of the food has changed”.Highway will release on February 21st 2014!

This everyone knows that Deepika Padukone stars in Farah Khan’s directorial Happy New Year, however, you might be glad to know that the Bengaluru beauty plays a Maharashtrian in Happy New Year. Hence, while auditioning for the role, which took place at film’s star Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat, Deepika was apparently dressed in some bright, tacky clothes in perfect sync with her character. Deepika was so into the character that when SRK's daughter Suhana saw the test shots on Deepika's phone, she apparently asked the actress, "Where are you in this?" Later on, Deepika went on to sweetly explain the little girl that she was in those loud clothes. This in itself speaks that Deepika was so much into the character while auditioning that even SRK’s daughter was in fence on which one Deepika really was among the pictures.Meanwhile, buzz also has that Jaipur court has asked police to register a case against Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Ranveer Singh, actress Deepika Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in their upcoming movie Ram Leela, a lawyer said.

Grapevine is abuzz that the censor board has let go of the song Eggjactly which was to be used in Sunny Leone starrer Jackpot. But when sources got in touch with Leone, she states that Jackpot is a family film, hence there is no need of any censorship.Leone, 32, shot some bold scenes for the movie, however, she feels that it is censor board to choose what is suitable for young adults to watch. She feels, “Jackpot is not an A-certificate movie. So, they have to be really careful on what the subject matter is.”“But I don't think there is anything in the movie that requires censorship. It's a very nice family movie that everyone can watch,” added the actress, who entered showbiz with erotic thriller Jism 2. Leone was at the music launch of the film on Saturday. Film’s director Kaizad Gustad is not too happy with the censor board banning the song Eggjactly, by Javed Jaffrey."It's unnecessary. I don't understand why the song has been banned - it's funny and there is humour in it. It is not anything personal it is about the whole country. He has not attacked any one person. The censor board should have some sense of humour. It's just a funny song and he has not offended anybody. He has been very careful to avoid personal attacks," Gustad said.Meanwhile, actor-producer Sachiin Joshi, on the ban, said, "I seriously think it's somebody's ploy against me and I am being targeted."The film has been shot in Goa, and it releases on December 13!

In B-town the camaraderie between the actors keep on changing between time to time, and actress Juhi Chawla didn’t shy away in admitting so, while speaking to the sources recently. She mentioned that her friendship with superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not the same as before."Whose friendship is the same as ever before anyways! And we are very, very busy people and Shah Rukh Khan is all the more busy than anyone, so where we have time for friendships? But of course we are friends, no doubt," said Juhi."Not just him, anybody from the industry; where do I meet anyone as such? It just doesn't happen. We are all running around doing our work," she added. The two have starred in various films like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Darr, Duplicate, Yes Boss, and most of their films were big hits. In fact their pairing was most loved, after Shah Rukh-Kajol."Of course I would love to do a film with him. Anybody will be interested in doing a film with him. But how, when, where... all this, maybe you should ask him only. We did wonderful films, we had great directors, I had a wonderful time but all that is history now.
