After being on the editor-desk and producing the last installments of Paranormal Activity, Gregory Plotkin is now coming on board as the director of the fifth installment of the horror franchise. Earlier, Plotkin had produced Paranormal Activity horror franchise, including the spin-off Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Now he is getting ready to helm the forthcoming sequel Paranormal Activity 5, arriving in October of 2014. Besides his work in the successful horror franchise which started in 2009, Plotkin has given his contribution as sub editor or assistant editor on some big films like The Break-Up, Friday Night Lights, The Insider. Apart from that he has also worked as a visual effects assistant editor on Pleasantville.The audience is keeping a tab on where the fifth installment of the franchisee will head towards as the last film really upped the ante as far as the spirit world. Almanac screenwriters Jason Pagan and Andrew Stark have come on board to pen the sequel. It will be produced by Jason Blum and Oren Peli.Let’s see if Plotkin succeeds in taking the franchisee to an all new level. We hope the film churns big money upon its release next year!

Where most of the celebrities are joining a bandwagon of creating their official Facebook accounts, our own Kannada's new version of Silk Smitha, Kavita Radheshyam has deactivated her Facebook profile recently. Sultry siren informed on Twitter account about shutting down her profile and "Promises" to be active on her official Twitter."There was no serious networking happening there and people with fake profiles approach you with wrong intentions. Every wannabe becomes a serious Film Maker or a Film personality and you cannot do anything about it. I was very much active on my Facebook account, but believe me, not one single serious person approaches you with work or serious networking. One look at Ranveer Singh’s chiseled body in Ramleela’s recently released song Ram ji ki chaal, and it is just impossible not to get becharmed by his persona. No wonder Ranveer is superlative with the response he has been getting post the release of the song.In fact, the chap is rather satisfied to get an opportunity to leave an imprint of his fit frame on celluloid. "It's probably the most intense training programme that I have been through to get in that kind of shape for Ram ji ki chaal. It's well worth it now that I see it on screen," the 28-year-old said in a video of the making of the song. "I am very happy that I looked like that at least once in my life and that it is imprinted on celluloid," he added. Meanwhile, the actor, who was admitted in Mumbai’s suburban hospital after being diagnosed with dengue, has been discharged and advised to take proper rest; however, we don’t see that happening, as he is already keen on making a comeback to work.Says a crew member, “Ranveer is trying to make up for lost time. We cancelled the music launch for the film, as we wanted to start the promotional activities with Ranveer and Deepika Padukone together. She says her dream of portraying a super girl in movies has come true with Krrish 3, directed by Rakesh Roshan and featuring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra and Vivek Oberoi.Kangana says she always wanted to play characters with the qualities of a supergirl. She says her dream has comes true thanks to her roles of Kaya. “I am already playing my dream role in Revolver Rani, Queen and Krrish 3. I always wanted to play a supergirl and I am getting to do that. So it's a dream come true,” said Kangana, who is feeling blessed to get powerful roles in Revolver Rani and Queen as well.Currently busy in promotion activities of Krrish 3, last visited TV show Comedy Night with Kapil, Kananga is all pack in the upcoming season. Her films are lined up to release giving her busy schedule to pursue without interruption. The promo of her film Rajjo has also been starting raising eyebrows. Kangana went to great lengths to prepare for her role as a mujrewali in Rajjo, directed by Vishwas Patil. Bigg Boss is well-known for its surprising twists and turns. Recently, they crafted a fake elimination and Armaan got evicted in the process. Everybody thought he is out from the show but Armaan has been shifted to the bonus room where he was welcomed by host of the show Salman Khan. Salman introduced him about the plan of BB. In the bonus room Armaan will also get live feeds from the house. After watching few clippings of the contestants, he finds that Kushal and Sangram are joyous about his exit while Tanisha and Andy are visibly upset. If source has to be believed, it was said that Ajay Devgn, brother-in-law of Tanisha had asked the makers to evict Tanisha from the show as she had bold antics with Armaan in recent episodes. After having high level meeting it was conducted to handle the situation by the makers. They said Tanisha will be eliminated by Bigg Boss in coming days. But, now it looks the makers have eliminated Armaan instead.Although, this elimination is for only a short period of time, Armaan and Tanisha will get separated. Looks like it is a smart move by the makers indeed. Now, Armaan is staying in the secret area of the house, observing the activities of other inmates for some days, before being called into the house again.Though Armaan and Tanisha have been kept apart as per the family’s intervention of the actress, the act of separating works or not, would only be seen in the coming days. On Saturday, Tanisha broke down as Armaan got ready to leave the house.

It would be a completely family affair when Shatrughan Sinha’s production house Shotgun Films’ upcoming film to launch his twin sons Luv and Kush Sinha as main lead role. The production house has also signed director Umesh Shukla for its second film that will feature Sonakshi Sinha as its protagonist. The belle, who has already proved her acting powers, is excited about the re-launch of Shotgun Films. “Everybody has their own production house today. Since we have in-house actors, director and producer, it’s all sorted. Dad later went into politics. As kids we knew he was in show business but didn't look beyond that. So it's great that today we three are reviving the banner. Dad's thrilled and proud of us,” Sonakshi beamed.Does it mean the audience will get to see father-daughter sharing screen space in the coming production ventures? Sonakshi says, “I would love to.
