This website is an excellent place for teachers to get new ideas. There are videos that are similar to the conferences we looked at for our last assignment.
The pbs site has a lot of good tips for teachers for a classroom in the k-12 setting. It has a lot of good ideas for activities in the classroom for every subject. As a foreign lanuage teacher, I found some good things under the reading and language arts tabs.
The other day when we went to the library the lady(can't remember her name) who showed us some resources mentioned this website. So here it is! Just click in the grade you wanna teach and voilà!
This is a great website and it's free. You can store and share files, create a class calendar, assignments and grading, and involves social learning for classrooms.
Cask of Amont. by Edgar Allan Poe. Comprehensive lesson plasn with clearly defined aims and standards. Wonderful enrichment activities and ideas on triggering prior knowledge in students.
This website is a great tool for teacher to use. You can find worksheets for any subject and any grade level as well as lesson plans other teachers have created.
