This is actually an interesting way to share info found on the web. You can highlight the pieces of a page you want others to see instead of sharing the whole page. Just something similar to diigo or delicious, but you share just parts of a page instead of a whole.

Storify: Create Stories Using Social Media - storify.com - 1 views

  •
This is an interesting site that allows users to create their own stories, using different images and info from the web. A teacher could use this to create a video or story relevant to the topic being studied in the classroom. That way, the teacher would visually engage the students and know that they can relate to the characters or stories that he/she created, allowing for a more exciting and fun classroom environment.

There is a tab for teachers which provides tips for teachers (lesson plans, 5 minute tasks to do in class, project ideas, homework assignments), web resources, video clips, etc.

Writeboard - 0 views

This web 2.0 is alot like GoogleDocs. Writeboard is a free web-based tool that allows students to easily collaborate on a single document online. Different versions of the document are automatically tracked and saved so that old ideas are never lost and can be easily monitored by teachers. It would be incorporated well into an english class.
