    This site shows how to solve problems via video. You can search by book or by topic. You get to see a teacher work out these problems like you were sitting in a classroom.

    A site for groups to work on projects together. It has IM capability, email notifications, online calendar,checklist, etc. Teachers can manage classrooms and students can manage projects. It looks like a great place for students and teachers to keep track of and work together on projects. (better if all students have a computer at home) Registration is free and easy.

    A good site to show students. If they are at home (and have a computer) and don't understand some homework assignments, they can go to this site to get examples and definitions. In high school they can use it for Algebra, Calc I, and Calc II

    Sweetsearch is a way for students to search sites that have been approved by "staff of research experts and librarians and teachers have evaluated and approved." This is great because it prevents students from using sites that may be misleading or full of wrong information.

    Pretty neat site on classroom organization, setup, hints, types of learning, etc. It shows how certain ways of setting up a classroom can affect learning. It shows ~ 15 hints on how to set up your classroom so that it is set up as a learning environment.

    A way to record lectures. You can do this at home or in class. We use this technology at UNCC, but it could prove to be useful in other classroom settings. Students would be able to log in from home to view the lecture again, or if they missed class, a way to not fall behind.
