My favorite work from the year was Jean Paul Sartre's No Exit. I liked it because iv'e never read anything similar to it before, it was creative original, and enthralling.

The most meaningful assignment of the year, was the shot stories. I found it both challenging and fun to try and condense my ideas into exactly 50 words.

Poetry out loud taught me how to project my voice and command the room, The Where I'm From thought me how to create a story from Minimal instructions, and take a creative approach to simple questions.

I learnt how to use MLA format, and I rediscovered my hatred for essays.

I discovered how to Insert a creative touch in formal papers, this has allowed me to exprees myself even in the dullest of assignments.

I need to work on following directions, although it's gonna take quite some time.

The General theme that connects all these stories is the general unfairness of life. How One day you can be on top of the world and, the next your fighting for your own survival, only to fail once you have come so far. In my relation to the universe I have found that I am small, so small in fact that I can't possibly make it from one end to the other, in an infinite number of lifetimes. " Knowing exactly where you are in the universe in relation to every one else has now become a method of execution, as the realization fries your brain. This phenomenon was first discovered when the inventors wife accidentally saw the map." - Douglas Adams, So Long And Thanks For All The Fish.

As the teenage brain's is still developing, this leaves us more emotionally unstable then adults. It is for this reason that developing our E.Q is important for teenagers, as it teaches them how to react appropriately to what is happening around us. Adults also need to Develop their E.Q's not only for interactions with other adults, but to keep them from losing it when they come into contact with the ferocious and unpredictable teenage menace.

Zefranks Video tells us that teenagers are underdeveloped and shoulder be taken all to seriously, as even the smallest thing can set us into a blinding rage. However if we increase our E.Q we may better put these destructive tendencies to rest

In Gogol's "The Overcoat" Gogol is criticizing the, superficiality of people in Czarist Russia. The satire is towards the materialism that clouds our judgments. For the longest time, people made fun of an looked down upon Akaky, due to the state of his overcoat. Yet once he gets a new one, every one treats him like a noble. He becomes overwhelmed by his new status as he has lived a mostly quiet life until now. And when it is stolen, all of that popularity is stolen with it. Outraged he marches down to the police station in hopes of getting his overcoat returned, however, he receives no help. Eventually he falls ill and passes away, with his spirit roaming the streets of St.Petersburg taking revenge on those who let him suffer.

Aaron Ayala and I share a common relationship with George and Lennie, Arron is the big overgrown freshman. That has a hard time making good decisions I.E He doesn't know how to style his hair the right way, he believed that getting mistaken for a certain NFl player, or Weird Al Yankovic would score well with the ladies. Thankfully I held the idea of a rabbit farm over his head, so that got him straight.

Its been 62 hours, survival unlikely, my oxygen is down to 7%, every one is dead, even the survivors. everywhere I look, there is a body floating haphazardly near by. Maybe Novak was right, why stare at death with the little time I have left. There's nothing left to reflect upon, my life has been meaningless, I have no relatives, hell I couldn't even keep a girl friend for more than a month, I'm just going to be another statistic of this attack, just a number on a paper. But instead of dying with panic on my face, my face shall be one at peace. Right now im fine with death, in 5 hours, I might not. Best to go out with a smile.

I am from the Borough of promise, a city of fresh concrete and dreams
from the borough where a street sing is a persons state of being
I am from the underground highway of dreams
a place where a person can go from projects to penthouse and only end up across the street.

I believe that Crane has a view that the world is unfair, that you can give it your all and still fail. In the case of the Oiler, he was the strongest swimmer, the odds of survival where in his favor; yet despite this he still drowns.

He quit because he thought of langal as an stuck up old man, who had his morals in the wrong place. When he walked out the door he knew the girls had been long gone. He sits on the curb and thinks about how hard life will be hereafter, but once he looks back at lengal, "he face was dark and ad his back stiff, as if he just had an injection of iron" sammy knows he left an impression on langal, and at the moment thats all he cared about.

I was about six, and in kindergarten. There was this girl named emma ( I forget her last name ) anyway, one day she just comes up to me and asks to be my girlfriend. fast forward two months, and I see her kissing two other kids. naturally I get mad and confront them, I followed one of them up to the highest point of the jungle gym, and when I made it to the top, I shoved him over the edge, climbed down and stomped on his stomach; and when his friend came over to see what had happened, I kneed him in the nuts, and tried to make a break for it. Unfortunately a teacher guarded the only exit, and managed to thwart my escape. I ended up getting suspended for four days, and never talked to that harlot again.
