its a great video that debates that the Stand Your Ground and whether if it a good idea or not. they show and explain 2 cases where the Stand Your Ground law was implemented with two different outcomes.

Treyvon Martin utilized the Stand My Ground laws to escape persecution when perpetrators entered his home attempting to harm him. The Stand Your Ground Laws were criticized under harsh scrutiny following the acts described above. The article following anwsers important questions regarding the theory of these laws, their purpose and how their functionality.

The Stand Your Ground Laws provide the right to self protection in the event of emergencies. This set of laws provides security to individual citizens seeking protection for themselves and their loved ones;while providing an outlet to the would-be criminal persecution that ensues following a controversial arms related incident. The victim in question will be protected from criminal persecution under theses laws, and the perpetrator will be tried and treated as such. States lacking in these laws require citizens to be subject to deadly force and simply hope for the best when faced against criminal/ harmful actions on their own property.

This is a great article pointing out the fact that if racism is in all races. People think because we are white we don't understand racism. It doesn't take a skin color to under stand ignorance and racism is ignorance. Racism is in all races no matter the skin color or gender or even  sexual preference.

This site goes into full detail on religious rite and civil rights, what is the point of gay's getting married, and many other arguments. In a religious stand point if gay marriage is legalized it will look to many as a defeat for their religion. In another point for the people who say marriage is between a man and women, and how we need to define who is a man and who is a woman. 

This author has an argument against our Government on how there shouldn't be so many laws.

Greg Merle does a wonderful job of pointing out the facts that lead to the question are we really free? He lists a few restrictions the government puts on the American people.

This article is just a couple of quotes that are used to describe our freedoms. A couple of constitutional beliefs are stated by the courts. I believe that this is a good one to choose because it has two, sound government employees standing up for our freedoms.

when does punishing your child go to far? This is an article about a parent humiliating and shamming her son publicly. The first one by Jessica Samakow talks about a young man who was failing and the mother puts him out in public announcing his GPA and asking if he needs education. That is just down right embarrassing. Then when you though the mother could not go any further she did. She made her son stand on the street again but this time with his grades posted. There is punishing and then there is just abuse and humiliation that no person deserves.

A judge in Mississippi put a lawyer in jail for not saying the pledge of allegiance. The lawyer did, however, stand up when the pledge was being said. Is this taking it to far? I believe it is out of respect to say the pledge. We have freedom of speech, but what about the freedom of silence?

This article covers a view on abortion from a pro-choice stand point. The author brings up alternatives to abortion, however they also address what makes the other options complicated if not impossible. The article also covers reasoning behind a person choosing abortion.
