I do agree with the fact that people in america are more likely to be killed due to gun violence. But i think it is because our country is more privileged when it comes to even having access to them.

the article makes a comparison of the high death rate due to guns in Brazil and how they are similar to the U.S. The Brazilian government in 2003 passed a gun law that brought death by gun from 40000 to 34000 in one year. This is suggesting that the U.S. should follow suit.

I think that it is great that people are looking at both shootings made by not only regular people yet also people that are shot by the police. I think it is an interesting statistic to look at.

It is good to get the stats on the number of people killed by the police and other individuals. That way, no harsh bias can be argued.
