It is the responsibility of each applicant to obtain current information regarding renewal requirements from the employing school district or Bureau of Educator Certification. If you are employed by a district public or charter school in Florida, request a district application form for certificate renewal from your district office and submit the completed application to your employing school district.

The fact that I had no idea that's what the article was about (I was thinking about general accessibility for everyone) is an indication that this is a topic that deserves more attention, awareness, and application in practice. The article will be freely available as a PDF from this webpage when on campus or logged into the UCF proxy server.

This site has how to videos for many of the sites I have seen mentioned. There are 5-min clips of how to set up and use the different applications that we find on the web but don't necessarily know how to get started on. I watched a couple of these, but especially liked the one about KidBlog and Animoto.

A great website for teachers to incorporate tablets in their classroom. A teacher can search applications according to subject area and grade level. Along with rating the application, the site gives the compatibility of the app such as, does it work with IOS, andriod, ipad, or ipod.

With all of the new "apps" and programs in Web 2.0, this is a great one-stop-shop to locate different applications in the different genres. I like this because of all of the different options in each category.

Pedagogical research on Web-based learning and instruction has not kept pace with the proliferation of Web-based courses offered by colleges and universities. Consequently, we encourage the application of the "Seven Principles of Good Practice in Undergraduate Education" (American Association of Higher Education, 1987) to guide the design and implementation of Web-based courses.

When you send a complete application package to our Bureau requesting a Florida certificate, your complete package is evaluated to determine your eligibility for a Florida certificate. The result of that determination is mailed to you as an Official Statement of Status of Eligibility.

The purpose of Florida educator certification is to support the academic achievement of our students by assuring that our educators are professionally qualified for highly effective instruction. Florida educators must be certified to teach in our public schools and in many of our private schools. Being the "Teacher friend" in the group you always get asked for the certification process, this has all the information needed and I know I've used it plenty of times.
