Great site to see Flash projects and interactive finished pieces.

this is a free App that you can use to creat flash cards. It is great to create the cards and share with the students. You can even put pictures on the cards.

This resource would be great for anyone who has an interactive whiteboard or even computers in their classroom. Brainflips allows you to create flash cards for any content area. After creating the flash cards there are different "modes" that students can use to learn the content. What a great way to practice spelling words, math facts and so much more!

Cool Math 4 Kids has cool math lessons, cool math games and fun activities. We have free online flash cards to print out, cool math practice games, online calculators and lessons for addition, subtraction, times tables, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals and more. Great site but it does have a lot of advertisements on it!

There is a great deal of enthusiasm for the use of games in formal educational contexts; however, there is a notable and problematic lack of studies that make use of replicable study designs to empirically link games to learning (Young, et al., 2012). This paper documents the iterative design and development of an educationally focused game, Compareware in Flash and for the iPad. We also report on a corresponding pilot study of 146 Grades 1 and 2 students playing the game, a paper and pencil related activity and completing a pre- and post-test. The paper outlines preliminary findings from the play testing, which included high levels of student engagement, an approaching statistical improvement from pre- to post-test, and a discussion of the improvements that needed to be made to the game following the pilot study.
