This video tutorial reinforces the portrait drawing technique that I will demonstrate live in class. Because no two artists work exactly the same, it will give the students another perspective on portaiture.

This site provides a PowerPoint presentation on how create the most appropriate question format for clickers. The website explains when in the lesson each type of question is most appropriate. The website provides various links that give the learner more information on each topic that pertains to incorporating student response devises in the classroom. The clickers allow for various types of question format. The instructor can choose to use true/false, multiple choice, numerical, and other various types of assessment check point tools to assess the understanding of the content. Furthermore, the website includes suggestions on using the clickers to prompt student conversation and engagement. The learner can develop a greater understanding from the instructions and information provided on this website. The PowerPoint presentation fits into Mayer's essential learning. Essential learning relates to a lack of understanding due to no previous knowledge on the given content. Several participants in the workshop may not understand which types of questions are appropriate for clickers; this PowerPoint will clarify and help pre-teach the material; thus, meeting Mayer's essential learning.

Assignment #3 The website has a list of courses that can be used for all level of learners. The learners can review tutorials before class.

Voki is a online site that allows the learner to create their own speaking avatar. Once the avatar is created, there is an opportunity to demonstrate generative learning by creating speech for the avatar. The speech can be recorded by one's own voice or done through a text to speech tool. In my project, this will be a way for workshop participants to use generative learning to apply their learning to creating their own project. They will post an avatar on their wiki to entice learners to use it, giving purpose and features that will make the wiki useful to the participant. I chose this site for many reasons. Although it is very simple to use, it requires a high level of creativity that is engaging for learners. The product is high quality and is able to be shared via email and different online environments.

Voki is a great multimedia website that will allow students to create talking avatars depicting themselves or historical figures.  I will use this site in my presentation wiki on infusing mulitmedia in a history class.

Lynda.com is a fantastic website for training on software and concepts. Students can gain a plethora of essential topics on a myriad of subject matter. What makes it particularly good is its proven track record across many industries. In addition, it is very complete and has available individual and enterprise rates.

This website allows you to get a basic tour of the new Blackboard environment (Blackboard Learn) through a tour that includes a narrated screen cast video. It is not interacted, but it is sufficiently detailed to give a thorough overview. It is better than most tours at their because it provides an introduction with the newest Blackboard, whose navigation as a instructor is significantly different from prior versions.

This narrated video tour introduces the learner on how to add content areas to Blackboard. I was a highly proficient user of the old Blackboard, and this was the hardest area for me to adjust to in learning Blackboard Learn because it was very different, and had many more options than previously. There are few non-manufacturer resources available because of the newness of this version of the platform.

You can download flipcharts from Promethean Planet to use in the classroom, as well as flipcharts that provide ActivInspire tutorials and tools. Promethean Planet also has a viewer that may be downloaded for free. Templates and additional clipart is another part of this site's resources. Easy to use.
