    Freeplane

I had some challenges downloading Freeplane on to the computer. However, I liked this site because there are several video tutorials that demonstrate how the different features work. It also lets you put your map in outline format, hidden edge style, and outline view just to name a few.

Webspiration is a great way to display information or concepts for visual learners. The information can be displayed in words and graphics in a manner that allows for processing of the information based on prior knowledge or it can be given in such a way that new knowledge can be introduced in steps or a manageable format. This site allows users to map out their ideas, organize information as well as collaborate online using graphic organizers. I chose this site because it gives many examples of graphic organizers and various scenarios of when to use them in the classroom. It is also fairly easy to use, and it is free. It is a tool that can not only be used by educators as a teaching tool but it can be used by non educators for business, and personal use to organize and sort information in a meaningful format.
