    The video explains the importance in performance based assessment. Performance bases assessment is the most appropriate for the multimedia workshop on clickers. Participants in the workshop need to demonstrate that they know how to effectively use the clicker sin the classroom. The video reinforces the need to make students demonstrate their understanding of the content by actually "doing". The instructor must communicate with the participants the expectations of the assessment and the grading procedure. Performance based assessment also lets the participant see if the mastered using clickers. Essential material takes advantage of pre-teaching the content and helping each individual is at least on the basic level. The video explains the importance of authentic assessment in the classroom. The website provides links for creating rubrics on all types of multimedia projects. One can find a rubric for group projects, wikis, blogs, PowerPoints and podcasts, and PowerPoint's. One can use the rubrics to help determine various aspects in creating a multimedia project. The main page contains a quick link section to help the user easily find the needed links. Rubrics are a great way for the learner to understand the requirements of a project. A rubric falls under generative learning. Many times when a project is assigned, the student has a difficult time determining what exactly should be completed to meet all the requirements. Generative learning helps the learner make sense of the material and supports an engaging learning environment. By using a rubric on an assessment activity, the instructor ensures that the participants are actively engaged by helping them organizer the expectations and criteria.

Explanations on how to insert shapes and change the color scheme are detailed enough to help the uneducated participant. The visuals add to the explanation of how to create the graphic organizer. The user can see how the screen on Microsoft word should appear; this assists in finding the correct icon for each step.

This website could also be used on as pre-training for creating graphic organizers and other technology aspects of a multimedia workshop. A graphic organizer can be used in conjunction with a lesson to help the student and/or participant organizer the material. Mayer (2010) discusses generative learning as a way to help make sense of the material. The Graphic organizer can help sort the wealth of information provided throughout the work shop.

Mayer (2010) explains essential learning as of understanding due to not having a sound previous understanding of a concept. The website helps the user create a graphic organizer. There are step by step instructions to guide the user through. By completing the tutorial, the participant is being pre-taught and gaining the basic knowledge to help then continue through.

Furthermore, the website includes suggestions on using the clickers to prompt student conversation and engagement. The learner can develop a greater understanding from the instructions and information provided on this website. The PowerPoint presentation fits into Mayer's essential learning. Essential learning relates to a lack of understanding due to no previous knowledge on the given content. Several participants in the workshop may not understand which types of questions are appropriate for clickers; this PowerPoint will clarify and help pre-teach the material; thus, meeting Mayer's essential learning.

The introduction of clickers can be confusing and stressful for teachers. The news clip explains the usage of clickers in a generative learning way. The video interview demonstrates the benefits of clickers and summarizes how and why one wants to include clickers into daily instruction.

E-Instruction created the web tutorials; therefore, the videos come from a reliable source. The tutorial videos are great to demonstrate what needs to be done to effectively add clickers to classroom. Tutorial videos fit with Mayer's generative learning. The videos help those who are not as familiar and still having some trouble; they help the learner make sense of the material. The videos promote an engaged environment; the learner can follow along and actually use the clickers as they progresses through the tutorial. The generative lesson helps the learner put the information together.

The learner needs to be the focus of the lesson not the technology. This instructional video focuses on the technology and not the learner. The video explains various aspects but many viewers might feel overwhelmed when listening because they do not understand the terminology.
