I agree that many people downplay the severity of environmental matters like this one. Something has to be done about climate change immediately.
  •
I agree with this article and how it shows humanity has been messing up the ice sheets for awhile now. Also very interesting to learn that the ice sheet could recover itself in a short time but we continue to "warm" the water.
  •
Not just Greenland, though Greenland is certainly the most apparent in proximity to Earth. While yes, humanity is rushing the process, the Earth naturally goes through the heating and cooling patterns that cause the ocean to rise and fall and glaciers to retreat and refreeze.

Physician Assisted Suiced - Reasons for Opposing Physician Assisted Suicide - 0 views

"Even with improved access to quality end-of-life care, there will still be rare cases of persistent and untreatable suffering. The most recent statistics we have from Oregon (2007), where PAS is legal, show that 88% of patients who opted for PAS were on hospice. That proves hospice and palliative care aren't always sufficient to treat severe suffering."

In 2009, at the behest of the Obama administration, the United States joined 152 other countries in endorsing a U.N. Arms Trade Treaty Resolution. The resolution establishes an international conference to be held next year, at which leaders from countries around the world-many of which have deplorable human rights records-will draw up an international treaty designed to severely restrict or even outright ban your right to sell, purchase, carry or own a firearm. Just two years ago, NRA fought a push to consider a 1997 Organization of American States gun control treaty in the Senate.
