Applied to marriage, assuming what's not true, that marriage between two men offends me, it's not the government's role on any level to protect me from being offended. Whatever one thinks of marriage between two men or two women, the argument that such a union negatively impacts those who aren't gay, or those who blanch at marriage between gay people is not compelling. Here's hoping we don't stop at marriage in expanding individual rights, rights that are natural, and that should exist free of political or voter influence.

Women who breastfeed their children have the right to breastfeed in public. Some states like California protect their right to not be harrassed while doing so. Other states don't have laws that protect breastfeeding mothers right to breastfeed in public. Breastfeeding is shamed on but when breast are seen everywhere else nothing is said.

It is one of the most important things to do for a child. I find it disturbing that some people go off on them and say that it looks gross. People have a problem with it because they think they are exposing themselves, They kind of are but they have a reason to do it which is for breast feeding. What would they do if they had a child and had to breast feed? I think they might change their mind a little bit.

It really irritates me when I hear that people are so against breast feeding in public. The whole point of it is to feed the baby and give it nourishment that the baby will not get from formula. I am sure the mother does not do it with intentions to expose themselves. Sometimes what needs to be done as to be done and people must deal with it.

Every person has rights that cannot be infringed. Though we have those rights, if we commit a crime and go to jail, those rights are not aloud to be used. This article explains how people can loose rights if sent to jail and why.

I do not think that burning the American flag is really effective as it only makes others mad. I think that people should protest if they are upset about something or believe something is unfair. I do not think that people should protest violently/aggressively, though. A lot of people protest peacefully, but some do protest violently- which only puts a harsh look on the whole situation.

I understand that there is a lot wrong with this country and people have a right to be upset with our government and how the country is right now. I feel that the flag symbolizes much more than just our country. I feel like it stands for every man and woman fighting for this country in the military. The flag symbolizes the military people that have died for us. I feel like buring the flag is complete disrespect to those that have died for our country and their families. There are so many ways to protest your beliefs about the country, there is no need to burn the flag that I feel represents the honor of those that have died for our country.

Technology has and will always be a huge part of my life. Having grown up with a brother heavily into gaming, programming, and IT work I got to see first hand the in's and out's of how the web works. It all comes down to how you manage your own security. Of course, there will always be the paranoia of being monitored but that has been happening for a long time. It all comes down to being cautious with what you do alone and or over technologies.

This book captures the many facets of information gathering by digital dossiers. It reminded me of the recent unveiled programs called Tempora and Prism used by the United Kingdom and NSA. The extent of these programs capacity to siphon user data iset deeply guarded and not known in detail, however the dossiers gathered by our internet traffic on an individual basis should alarm users. I belive privacy is priceless, if I told my grandfather who passed in 2006 the extent we divulge our personal information on social media he would probably find it unbelievable. He was born in 1920 became an officer in the United States Air Force and served in WW2. The idea of privacy has changed with each generation. The way we perceive the handheld devices we all carry as young as the age of 5, may seem to our greatest generation who is currently exiting our society as a mere tracking device for big brother.
