    I find it very sad that suicide is the third-leading cause of death for teens and young adults. This article is very clear on what signs to watch for, how to address the person if you do see signs and how to get them help. I feel that after reading this article I will feel more comfortable speaking up in a situation if needed. I hope you guys read this and share it with friends and family.

I believe she is very qualified and this article is highly reputable. However I would like to see some statistics that support some of the claims in the article. I spent about 10 minutes reviewing the information in this article and have found some conflicting information(s). https://www.cdc.gov/violenceprevention/pdf/suicide-datasheet-a.pdf Above is a snap-sheet posted by the CDC summarizing suicide in 2015. The article I am responding to is dated August 15th. In both places the leading cause factor is different. The CDC claims that in ages 15-34 that suicide is the second largest contributing factor to teenage death. The internet is sleezy. I don't know what to believe anymore.

    This is a great article that goes into depth about what causes suicide, what to look out for, etc. Some parents are kind of in the dark about this type of stuff, so it's awesome that such a source exists for parents before it is too late. It makes me sad that it is the third-leading cause of death. A permanent solution to a temporary problem..

    I agree 101% how terrible it is that this is the third leading cause of death. Life should not be about spending your time planning on how it will end. I am now happy though that I have the right tools to know how to deal with this type of social justice.

    Summary: This article is based off a nonprofit origination that wants to give victims of prostitution a new beginning. Providing them with a new home, new clothing, food, employment, or schooling. The Everyone's Kid, Everyone' Gives campaign wants to raise awareness, and empower women/girls/children that there is a better life outside of trafficking world. They want them to have an ease that their safe, and not feel they will be criminalized and punished if they leave. In order to provide them with this comfort it requires a need for resources. That is why Everyone's Kids, Everyone Gives is a wide range fundraising event to make it possible.

    I believe that in general, regardless of gender, a person should pursue and be whatever they want to. Gender roles have substantially changed over the years and continue to do so. Chasing careers and hiring for jobs should focus on the person as an individual, not by their gender.

    I hate to admit, being a woman in society is definitely challenging in numerous ways. It's horrible that a person's gender determines if they qualify for the job or not. Although, throughout the years I believe people have improved and for the most part, people have stopped becoming so simple minded. Women are finally given the credit that they deserve.

    I think its important that we consider that its Gender Equality and not Female Equality. Both sides of the fence face the same descrimination. I am personally in a position where I am more than qualified to move up, but am noticing that only women are being promoted. There are struggles on both sides.

    Many social media users experience cyber-bullying. It's sad to say that it's a common and fairly easy thing to do and there should be more movements to stop it, but when there's people like celebrities doing it, who have millions of followers, there isn't an initiative or example to follow that promotes the cessation of cyber-bullying.

    Cyber-bullying is definitely an issue that needs to be discussed. Many online platforms don't adequately deal with bullying. Bullying can also lead to suicide. An example of this I believe is the suicide trend seen on some social media sites where teenagers primarily spend their time on such as Tumblr.

    I was glad to see a topic on cyber bulling it is a huge issue due to the fact that we are always on electronic divides. I recently just watched a movie on the subject the other night on Netflix. In the movie the young girl told both her parents and the school that she was being harassed and the school did nothing to help. The young girl ended up committing suicide.

    I think that cyber bullying is certainly a big issue. A lot of people may not even know that they are cyber bullying. You can see all over the internet people making fun of other people, even if it seems harmless. Some people don't realize that this can affect someone tremendously. They don't think about what they are putting online before they post it.

    People are too afraid too confront others, so they go online and make fun of them instead. When we are behind our phones or computers we feel a lot more comfortable and don't think much about it. Cyber bullying is wrong and hurts others emotionally.

    I am also glad that this was an article posted. This is such a growing issue, and has been for sometime. It's extremely unfortunate that school are part of this, and when these children go home they can't find solace because of the internet and all the social apps created.

    There are many major problems within our healthcare system. For instance, there is a huge shortage of healthcare workers. We need healthcare workers in order for hospitals to run smoothly. Not only is there a shortage of workers, there is an opioid crisis as well. Many things need to be done in order to fix the healthcare system.

    The healthcare system is a mess right now. A lot of healthcare workers were called heroes in the beginning of covid and now they're being fired because they don't feel comfortable getting the vaccine. The shortage is from them getting fired. I actually lost my best friend to an accidental overdose.

    Americans spend almost twice as much on health care then the average for the 10 most high earning nations despite having the highest rate of mortality and suicide. There are people who would just as soon try and deal with a broken bone on their own then risk thousands and thousands of dollars worth of medical bills.
