There's a problem arising among the millennial generation, a generation that values art and culture. But it's beginning to take a turn, it doesn't like any form of authoritarian figure, whether it be from the left or right. These are the people who stand up against false grievances and over exaggerated remarks towards race, color, and gender.

This is completely true, this generation has been so manipulated by the media, which they have depended on so fiercely as of late, that they will listen to anything they hear, and automatically believe they are experts in the field. People need to educate themselves, and grow up, and fast, because a generation of socialist, social justice warriors, that are uneducated, and have a twisted sense of justice have risen.

Racism in America still exists and probably always will, especially toward the Latino community. Their acceptance in the work place and in education institutions are frequently effected by evidence a stereotypical bias. This is true prejudice at its core and continues to crosses generations.

Growing up in Arizona I had no idea what racism was. My high school was predominantly Hispanic and I never saw prejudice towards them or hatred to me. It wasn't until I was an adult that I began to realize the problem with racism. Although I do believe that America is still the greatest country, any other country that you can say deals with racism better is just more white, and doesn't have to deal with it. I cannot say that there are not people here who believe, for some insane reason, that America is a suppose to be "white" and anyone of a different race is an "immigrant." I am hopeful that as each generation is born a small part of racism dies.

Children with emotional disabilities may look like other children, but their impairments cripple them. They are unable to maintain self-control. These children are mis-understood, by educators. Because of their disabilities they are the last set of children that placed in general education

Over the past 8 years, there have been obvious assaults at United States citizens second amendment right to bear arms. Guns, especially assault rifles, have received an awful lot of scrutiny for people shooting one another, however in reality shootings with assault rifles account for only 2% of homicides in the United States. Meanwhile the rifles themselves are being blamed for the unstable people wielding them. Meanwhile knives account for nearly 14% of homicides, however no one is attempting to ban knives, as it is general knowledge that they are tools, just like guns. But the media is making every attempt to make guns the villains, not the wielders.

This subject has been plaguing our country for years now, and it's proven that most violent crimes don't happen with guns. Especially assault rifles, people aren't just carting around carrying around rifles everywhere committing crimes. They use what's small and readily available. Such as, knives, bats, handguns, or even just using their fist to get what they want.

Is the loss of civil liberties worth the convenience of technology?

Technology has and will always be a huge part of my life. Having grown up with a brother heavily into gaming, programming, and IT work I got to see first hand the in's and out's of how the web works. It all comes down to how you manage your own security. Of course, there will always be the paranoia of being monitored but that has been happening for a long time. It all comes down to being cautious with what you do alone and or over technologies.

This book captures the many facets of information gathering by digital dossiers. It reminded me of the recent unveiled programs called Tempora and Prism used by the United Kingdom and NSA. The extent of these programs capacity to siphon user data iset deeply guarded and not known in detail, however the dossiers gathered by our internet traffic on an individual basis should alarm users. I belive privacy is priceless, if I told my grandfather who passed in 2006 the extent we divulge our personal information on social media he would probably find it unbelievable. He was born in 1920 became an officer in the United States Air Force and served in WW2. The idea of privacy has changed with each generation. The way we perceive the handheld devices we all carry as young as the age of 5, may seem to our greatest generation who is currently exiting our society as a mere tracking device for big brother. This reading was very informative.

This article focus on defining IEP, and its standards in schools. It gives statics on how teachers accepting children with disabilities in their classrooms, and the teacher who think its impossible to teach general children compared to children with disabilities. This article also compares the lesson plans teacher have to adjust to accommodate for children with disabilities in their class with general children.

I feel like bullying has become more and more of an issue over the years. It is sad to see what is going on and I would like to see more schools implement programs to stop it.

While racism has always been an issue this article offers some interesting ideas and thoughts on what is causing a generation to have more racist views than previous generations. It also offers a few suggestions on how to root out racism in our crountry.

In general a good website for all topics concerning health. I have included a direct link to the obesity section. 2 in 3 American adults or either overweight or obese. This makes America the leading country in problems such as, diabetes and heart disease.

I also bookmarked an article about child obesity. It is very informative on statistics about child obesity and how much it is growing.

I also found that not only obesity is linked to diseases and disabilities but it can affect a person mentally. The article I found explained how a persons mental health is what makes the process of preventing obesity more challenging

The article describes how Individuals struggling with poverty are at risk and in danger of starvation and sanitation. Poverty has a negative impact on society, children, and violence.

In this entry, it explains the public poverty and more importantly the child poverty. It explains but also adds how they effect the other.

Poverty is a serious issue across the world. Starvation and illness can surge through low income and create a serious health risk for many.

The argument is presented in a series of questions on the ethical stance of what the government surveils, what the surveillance consists of as well as the consequences of any action taken as a result of surveillance and the reality that American citizens never consented to the constant surveillance of their personal lives. The position of inclination towards complacency is concisely summed with a strong amount of surveillance being presented by the double edged statement of "If you haven't done anything wrong, you have nothing to fear.".
