Breathalyer at prom for a new york school - 0 views

  •
Saratoga High School in New York will have breathalyzer for each student attending prom next month. It will be at the front door to ensure that every student will attend prom in a sober fashion. Their principal says the new guideline is in response to growing concerns about student safety and alcohol use. Mostly all of the students of this school said its a good idea and they like this idea. They think that students should be checked for this since its not legal for anyone underage to do no matter the circumstances.

I think it's a good idea. No one wants to have some drunk annoying people ruining prom for everyone else. If you're going to be stupid, do it on your own time.
  •
This should be at our prom. This could make sure no one gets hurt drinking and driving. It could also make sure there is no chaos at proms.
  •
This is a good thing to do because it will keep the kids safer and a more enjoyable prom rather then being arrested.
  •
I agree that they should be checked. It's a good thing because it can make alot of bad things that could have happened, not possible.
  •
I think this is a good idea, i agree with Rachel. Nobody wants a drunk annoying person at their prom ruining it for everybody else.
  •
This is a good idea because there are probably many students who would show up to prom under the influence of alcohol.
  •
It makes sense to use precautions like this. Every year there's students who drink before prom and usually get arrested. Doing this might affect how many people actualy do drink before prom. Also it will cut down on the dangers of drunk driving.

I can't believe someone would still much needed drugs from there 9 year old son who has cancer. This type of stuff makes me sick!
  •
This is such a sad story. I think that it's very wrong for somebody to do this to their own son. This lady must have thought she knows more then a person who had gone to school for years to be able to tell the boy he needed these drugs.

I don't know how you even do that its just not right. Yet not all people are right i the head it's just something your born with....

These people should be suspended they are not doing their job and could potentially be putting peoples lives in danger if they do not get more serious.
  •
I think that these airlines should be monitored more. This could get many people hurt and make no one want to fly anymore. They airline should watch who they hire.
  •
I would not want to fly on an airline where people watch movies and sleep instead of doing there job. This stuff needs to be cracked down on.
  •
Good, they should be suspended. You shouldn't be watching a movie while your at work. What if somebody that was dangerous snuck past and hurt somebody? They need to find two more serious officials, one's that will do their job right

Missouri levee fails - 0 views

  •
A compromised levee in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, failed Tuesday. This is forcing authorities to order more evacuations in the region. The levee failed in at least four locations along a two-mile stretch. he failure was expected to send flood waters from the Black River racing into a populated but rural area of Butler County. Police performed 59 water rescues Monday alone.
  •
I think river patrol or whoever takes care of the levees should most certainly watch over these levees more then they are. Obviously they aren't in the best shape anymore and should be fixed.
