McLaren cuts the price of its carbon fiber menu. The MP4-12C one of Mclarens elite supercar is now more affordable. The MP4-12C has 592 horsepower twin-turbo V8. The car is capable of reaching over 205MPH. The car used to cost over $500,000.00. Now the super car cost lest then $250,000.00. What made the car so expensive before was the use of all carbon.

Yeah the supercar may be more affordable now from its old retail price but really who has a quarter mill to be spending on a car. unless you're rich of course.

People should just wait to buy the car because the price will just keep on dropping overtime.

Scientists, in Brazil, are trying to use fibers from fruit to make a stronger light plastic to create car parts. They are 30 percent lighter and 3 or 4 percent stronger. This could also improve the fuel economy. Fibers found for these products can be found in pineapple leaves and stems, bananas, coconut shells, agave, and cattails. The new plastics are more resistant to heat, water and spilled gasoline than conventional plastics.

Ford Motor combined strong sales and improved pricing to roar past earnings forecasts and post its best first-quarter profit since 1998. Ford earned $2.6 billion, up 22% from last year. They did this by lowing prices on cars and making the most sold cars in America. This has been Fords best since 1998. They are currently the company withe the most cars sold.

This would be good for them because then it would help them out

A cattle truck flipped over on an interstate ramp in the south suburbs, klling 16 cows. One cow escaped from the truck as crews were trying to upright it. The cow, which had a broken leg, charged at some of the workers. Illinois State Police say they were forced to shoot it to put it down. One of the cows fell on to the roof of a car on the interstate below. The driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. Dozens of cows remained alive inside the turned over truck.

if two planes get close enough to hit each other there is something wrong with the air control station, someone was not performing there job well.

I do not understand how this happened. How could someone at the airport let the planes in the same area at the same time!

The people flying this plane are not to blame, the people in the control towers should be able to maintain control of these kind of things. I wouldn't be too happy about this because of somebody else being careless.

Since gas prices rose Ford gas been struggling. They're trying to give incentives out to customers buying their vehicles. They're not only having problems with the vehicles but the technology inside. With gas prices rising people just want the simplest and cheapest vehicle. The technology may be a turn off.

So there is another reason why these gas prices are ridiculous and someone needs to step up and fix what is wrong before there is no turing back and the u.s. is in an uproar.

Emily Fennell lost her hand in a car crash in 2006. She lives in Yuba City, California with her 6 year old daughter Hannah. This surgery lasted 14 hours to complete. She is thankful for her hand back so she can play with her kid, but she don't take it for granted.

Well thats good now she gets her life back her life is back know shes gets to go and have some normal fun her life is back to the same now
