She is very lucky that her family decided to go for a walk and that she didn't die from dehydration. I think it is about time to retire from hiking at that age because there is a good chance she will fall or get lost again and maybe won't get as lucky as she did this time.
  •
Wow. That is incredible. Next time she should probably not go hiking alone. There is safety in numbers and could keep this from happening again.
  •
Well for 62 years old thats good she's getting exrisce but too bad this happened to her.
  •
It's amazing that the family actually found her. She's very lucky she made it out alive after being there for three days especially without having any food or water and the risk of wild animal attacks.

  •
The Missouri tornado death toll as rose to 118 people dead and it is still rising as they look for more people that are trapped under their own houses. This tornado was one of the deadliest single U.S. tornado since modern record-keeping began more than 60 years ago.
  •
With every tornado it just gets worse and if not its going to.
  •
Natural disasters are a terrible thing to suffer from, because you can't blame anybody for your misfortunes. I think that people should read these articles and become more aware of how devastating they can be, and more people will be inclined to seek more protective shelter.

  •
These people are going to have a long line of recovery ahead of them. I'm sure a lot of help is going to be there for them, but nothing can replace friends and family that were lost.
  •
This siren test is a good thing to let people no when a bad storm is coming
  •

There should be serious consequences for Giovanni Ramirez. Gangs are a big problem and every member they have off of the streets is a good thing. They need to be stopped somehow
  •
I remember hearing about this when it happened thinking it was just so awful i didn't think somebody could be so low and beat another person up because of the sports team they follow. It's really something to think about
  •
I really can't believe that somebody has the guts to beat somebody up for something so little and stupid. That guy can't even like his favorite baseball team without getting beat up for it. I think that it is a great thing that the giants players are giving a reward to anyone with answers. It really shows that they care about their fans.
  •
when stuff like this happens it needs to be dealt with and have major consequences. when this happens it just looks bad on the sport and general managers that do not provide enough security. this is a major problem at sporting events.

This is great especially with the economy the way it is. Other companies should follow the ways of Chrysler so we can get our economy back on track.
  •
That is great and it may show signs that our country is slowly recovering from the recession we are in, maybe this will give people motivation to start looking for jobs again.

U.S. population is beginning to slump. - 1 views

  •
The United States was once one of the most rapidly growing countries in the world, but that is not the case now. Slow population growth can be a good thing, as the U.S. is in a recession the way it is, and more people can make it worse, especially with jobs currently being difficult to find. From the 90's to 2000, the U.S. was growing at 13.2%, and from 2000 to 2010, it has grown 9.7%. 43% of the growth is Hispanics, which shows how rapidly we our adapting to a diverse community. Studies show that the U.S. is becoming a middle aged country, which will most likely harm us if we don't get out of the recession, because that will be even more money being drained once all the middle aged people are able to collect Social Security.

3 year old missing after bad weather - 2 views

  •
Ryan Hamil went missing Tuesday after ferocious weather. He was with his mother and siblings when the storm hit. The mother has broken bones bruises and cuts and the father was away but returned. They were last searching a 16-mile stretch. They have taken refuge in a bathtub. Its one of the worst since 1953 and their hearts go out.
  •
The storm must have been very strong to take a child away from his mother. Hopefully they keep searching until they find the child. I've seen pictures of the wreckage and it will be a struggle but we can hope everything will be all right.
