Air Trafic Officials Suspended!!!!!!!!!! - 0 views

  •
Early Sunday morning, two air traffic officials were caught suspended. They were caught watching a movie on a portable DVD player. The worker was watching the movie while working the radar position. For more than three minutes the movie played across the radio frequency. The problem was brought to air traffic control's attention by the pilot of a military aircraft using an alternate frequency. This is leading to a nationwide tour by top FAA officials and union representatives, to discuss professionalism and safety at air traffic control centers.

Air traffic control operators are declining in workers performance everyday and now government officials are starting to take action. There Crack-in down on the paid, lazy, and dangerous control operatives not taking there job seriously. Two Air traffic control operatives have been suspended for watching DVD's during their shift in Cleveland. The Federal Aviation Administration or the "FAA" officials and union representatives, are to discuss the future of Airport security. The "FFA" says one of the violins are sleeping on the boruch of Danny

These people should be suspended they are not doing their job and could potentially be putting peoples lives in danger if they do not get more serious.
  •
I think that these airlines should be monitored more. This could get many people hurt and make no one want to fly anymore. They airline should watch who they hire.
  •
I would not want to fly on an airline where people watch movies and sleep instead of doing there job. This stuff needs to be cracked down on.
  •
Good, they should be suspended. You shouldn't be watching a movie while your at work. What if somebody that was dangerous snuck past and hurt somebody? They need to find two more serious officials, one's that will do their job right

Surprised Beavis and Butt-head are finding their way back to TV! Really need to watch spelling. If tags are mis-spelled, people will not be able to find them. For example, when I searched "mcahs" your article did not come up because it was entered incorrectly.
  •
Beavis and Butt-Head finally back on TV. One of the greatest cartoons to date is back.
  •
One of the funniest TV shows ever. Im surprised its aloud back on TV from all the things they did.
  •
I am really surprised to see this show coming back on air, although i do not find it to have any meaning, I would rather watch this than some of the other shows that are on MTV now.
  •
That is awesome who doesn't like that show i don't know about anyone else though but i don't know how in the world that got back onto the air. I hope the creators made a lot of changes because if not it will be taken right back off the air ya know what i mean.

The Air France Airbus 380 hit the smaller plane while taxiing to the runway for takeoff. The smaller plane then caught on fire. Emergency crews eventually put the fire out.The passangers remained calm as they were alerted to what happened. After a few hours the plane was evacuated and everyone was safe. Their luggage was also ok. This happened because the smaller plane was landing when the other was getting ready for take off. Everyone was safe.
  •
I think that if your trained to fly then you should have to watch where your going just like in a car unless you cant see where your going or in this case flying.
  •
well apparently someone wasnt doing their job if planes hit each other unless there was communication mix ups. thats bad though how cant you notice 2 planes aboyt too hit.
  •
I agree. It takes a lot more than just being awake to control an airport. Someone wasnt doing their job.
  •
    Someone should be fired.
  •
I do not understand how this happened. How could someone at the airport let the planes in the same area at the same time!
  •
The people flying this plane are not to blame, the people in the control towers should be able to maintain control of these kind of things. I wouldn't be too happy about this because of somebody else being careless.

Choppers douse reactors - 0 views

  •
Helicopters are being used for air support in japan to douse the nuclear reactors to keep the cool so they do not meltdown.
  •
I think that this is good. Japan is already in a horrible situation with the Tsunami and if they had a nuclear meltdown, it would just cause even more damage then what's going on now.
  •
Hopefully they can put it out so that there is no nuclear pollution on top of all of the devastation.

The cockpit voice recorder from an Air France plane that crashed mysteriously nearly two years ago, killing all 228 people on board, has been found. This device will bring the investigation one step closer to knowing the cause. The discovery of the two data recorders may finally explain why the Airbus A330 dropped out of the sky and into the ocean. It took nearly two years to locate the bulk of the wreckage.

Maybe by finding this and analyzing it they can make other airplanes safer!
  •
I actually came across this on AOL news the other day. Its amazing how big the ocean is and we are able to find such small pieces of history in the depths the dark water. It will be more interesting what they will find out in recent weeks.
  •
That is amazing. I wonder what the voice recorder has on it.

Iodine-131 was found in Colorado and Oregon by a monitor in Colorado. The trace amounts of radiation found is about 100,000 times less than the natural radiation we receive from the sun, so it really is no threat.

Radiation from Japan's earthquake was recently found in California,Hawaii,Washington,Colorado, and Oregon. They were only small levels but they could increase over time. Most studies are being done by the EPA. Air monitors are tracking these particles. The particle most recently found is iodine-131.
  •
Two more states Oregon and Colorado join radiation problems with other western states. These radiation problems have spread about 5,000 miles away from Japan.
  •
