The VIFEC features the capability of two-way video classrooms and library/media centers from the perspective of a model practitioner. The facility can provide a unique laboratory where students have the opportunity to interact with practicing professionals and share perspectives on real-time experiences. Because such a program would rely on a wide variety of consulting cooperating teachers, candidates would have the opportunity to observe many school settings, including underserved and diverse populations."
