Now we are talking not only an organization tool but a creativity tool. In the process or organzing my materials, I'm creating those connections and webbing of links to where and why I post material in multiple places (3 ring binder tabs). I like it. I also like that it's drag and drop. I need to play some more with this one!

Nice organization tool for sign ups. I think it has the potential to help teachers organize students who are signing up for activities/field trips. But will districts take electronic signatures for permission slips?

Someone has done a nice job of organizing the different tag cloud tools into an online binder of information. Great site for two reasons; the content about tag clouds, and the use of livebinders as the medium. Well organized, and LiveBinders allows you to share easily. 

Virtual Nerd is developing a nicely organized site. The videos are primarily symbolic in nature but are thorough, organized, and do a nice job of modeling notes to accompany the explanations. 

If looking for a system or classroom routine to develop student eportfolio this mosdel is a nice way of organizing the 'tech' aspect of the routine. Have students write blog posts as writing to learn component, get feedback for editing, organize them according theme/topic (allows for cross-referencing), post final products as portfolio pieces. Very transparent, easy to track, allows for built-in feedback/reflection.

Between brain-teasers and fun experiments theres something for scholars old and new." Interesting take on organizing some of the many videos available on the internet. 

What makes TED such an appealing web series and organization is its desire to offer up a little something for everyone. This includes high school students and the teachers who love, hate, or tolerate them. Honestly, pretty much any video hosted there boasts its own educational value, but some hold more relevance than others. Whether they empower and inspire, shine a light on social injustices or simply show off some seriously cool innovations, the following 20 videos are bound to make class time just a little more interesting.

More physics applets from Edinformatics. I don't know exactly who they are but they have their applets organized by content/level/topic which is a great way of helping people find applicable apps 

Geared toward developing good instructional strategies for entry level geo-science courses at the post-secondary setting, the suggestions can easily be applied to 6-12 setting and are just good instructional practices. Well organized and includes different perspectives and connected content.

Nice tool for organizing your facebook feed to look like a newspaper. If you don't like the linear display used by facebook then this is a great tool. I wonder if Facebook will be buying this site in the near future. 

Use your twitter or facebook feeds to create a newspaper to really maximize your PLN. Paper.li links to posted links, and puts them into categories.  Similar to PostPost for Facebook. Check out this great example: http://paper.li/ITLynda If you have a classroom twitter account this would be a great way of organizing all of the classes  tweets into publishable 'paper'

Use of an iPod for instructional purposes is cool, but for the work we are doing in Africa this kind of thinking becomes important. The iPod/iPhone can become a way for sharing/organizing/storing documents. Teachers can use the wireless component of the tool to share materials when they have opportunities to gather.

Using music to make connections in content learning, most specifically social studies. The non-profit organization works to design lessons that get permission from artists for students to use their lyrics as the basis of their writing. I like the idea and think it fits well with the type of thinking we use at CTL so I'm sharing it!
