Great way to create, collaborate, share, and embed slideshows. Similar to slideshare.net. This site seems to connect well with other sites. 

Magma provides video aggregation capabilities from any source on the net.

Another online graphing utility. Not as rigorous as Swivel, but offers a way of creating interesting venn diagrams. Great tool for teaching how to label and provide unit data so people can read the graph most effectively.

Windows live Movie Maker, is even easier than it used to be. Great FREE tool for making videos with students.

Diigo does it again. A great tool for students to use to create a presentation of material or for a teacher to use to create a reading list/discussion board for students. Already one of the best web2.0 sites on the internet, Diigo makes sharing/discussion/synthesis of material easy and interesting. 

Great presentation from Chris Lehman. What makes this presentation so powerful (besides the nice clean design) is the actual projects that are part of SLA. 

Interesting classroom management software that is using the social networking model to make classroom commnications stronger. It is in Beta, so I encourage teachers to check it out to see if it adds anything to your classroom environment. 

Compilation of articles about how people think and construct meaning. A nice collection if looking to start creating support for rational why you want to do something and want some research/support. 

Loved this post on engaging students in higher level thinking/inquiry. Horray for student voices!

I think I totally disagree with Diane on this one, but am happy to read more carefully.

...is a deliberately eclectic mix of tech commentary, sci-fiction nerd-outs, fringe culture, gadgets, and serious news items. It is, according to its own description, a "directory of wonderful things."

Been a fan of this site for a while and didn't realize I hadn't bookmarked it yet. Instead of arranging photos in a traditional album,Synth finds relationships among pictures and digitally composites them to create a 3-D experience. Awesome!

We introduced Diigo to WJHS this summer and I thought I would pass this news along to everyone, but especially that group. I still think Diigo is an incredible tool for collaboration in the classroom for research, group work/accountability, formative assessment, reaching beyond classroom walls both with students and colleagues. Additionally, Sean does some nice simple video production (with totally FREE tools) that I want to share with other teachers. It's easy to do, is a way of getting information to your students easily and in a manner that allows them to access the information as many times as they like/need.

Problem Based Learning Academy is a well designed wiki with lots of interesting links/resources if you are interested in learning more about problem based learning.
