This is the introductory video tutorial by R. Stannard. Prezi is fairly complex, so the video is a good idea. As always, Stannard suggests ways to use the tool as he goes along.

This remarkable concordancer has many quick and easy features, such as seeing visually with a graph the frequency of occurences of a word, quick links to the word embedded in a corndance, and indications of "good" and "bad" uses of a word. Stannard doesn't talk much about the pedagogy of the tool, but it is well worth exploring, esp. with your more advanced students.

This is a presentation given by Stannard in Luxembourg. He briefly describes each tool (it actually turns out to be about 13-14 tools, as some are "doubles"), suggests a use for it with students, and provides a link to his training video. Tools are mainly useful for adult learners.

Stannard' describes the website, MeeGenius (http://www.meegenius.com), which reads books aloud to young children. Many books are free, and you hear it as written, or personalize the book, for instance, by giving names to the lion and the mouse in AEsop's fable.

Jing is used to make screen casts, and Stannard uses it for his own teachrtrainingvideos.com. Where to get it, how to use it, and so on.

This is a short set of R. Stannard video's on using Moodle. Deals mainly with chats and forums.

Shows how you can use Xtranormal to make 3-D characters. Your students can create a movie scenario, write the script, make the characters, select camera angles, add voices (in several languages) in quite long dialogues, and share the movie by email. Stannard takes you through the entire process (about 10 min.) using a Camtasia screencast.

R. Stannard reviews the CMS Edmodo platform, which let's you set up a virtual learning environment for students quickly and easily, and it's free. Edmodo is a wonderful for creating a class community, as well as setting assignments, creating quizzes, polls, and rubrics.

A great follow-on by R. Stannard on how to add content and "see" Moodle from the students' point of view. Includes students' content-uploads, using chats and forums, etc.

R. Stannard has created a tutorial for wallwisher.com, now called "Padlet" This tool is nice for creating a visually oriented board of notes where students can tell others what they are doing, for example, on a project; or to keep interesting photos and weblinks.

R. Stannard: "This tool allows students to create sound files and then the teacher or other students can listen, click on the sound wave and add comments. So it is great for providing feedback as teachers can listen to the recordings and then click at the appropriate point and add comments regarding language, intonation, content or pronunciation."

R. Stannard shows not only how to use iTunes, but the instructional virtues of this tool.

R. Stannard describes how to use Dropbox.com to save your files, share them, and view them on all devices connected to the Internet.

This e-book is free from British Council and is quite short, but contains important chapters on secondary and adult language teaching with technology, ESP, EAP, assessment (co-authored by Russell Stannard), and professional development.

R. Stannard shows how to use Bubblr to make cartoon strips or anime novella with your students for writing activities that can be embedded in a blog or website and shared by email.

R. Stannard on blogging and what to do with it. You may be surprised at some of the things you can do with blogs, even though it may be considered an "old" technology. As a writing tool, blog entries are extremely useful and can even be used as a record of revisioins of an essay. You can also create a community of joint writing with multiple authors. The search function is more powerful than a website, and it can hold all sorts of media.
