    Alveoli is the air sac at the end of the bronchioles. They exchange the oxygen and carbon dioxide inside the blood. They provide oxygen to the blood and send out the carbon dioxide again. If the alveoli are damaged, the process of exchanging oxygen and carbon dioxide will not work well and give oxygen to your body.
