In the kidney, the blood stream collects protein but right before it does that, there are these transport proteins. For each different protein, the transport protein do different things. The reason why I think that this is interesting is because the different combinations for each protein make the whole thing complex.
It was very interesting to realize what kidneys do to our blood. First, blood comes in the kidney through the veins. Then inside the kidney blood concentration is balanced out. Also kidney filters out the harmful substances so our blood can be clean. Then through the arteries, it flows back to the heart. It was amazing to see how this organ can remove the unwanted materials and control the concentration of the blood.
The fact that an organ in our body actually balanced the blood was an interesting fact. Also it was very interesting to see Urea, Water, Glucose, Protein and Sodium carried to the blood through a visual representation.
In the kidney, there are renal vein, renal artery, pelvis, a tube called ureter. If you get a closer look at the kidney, there are nephrons which contains the renal capsule, loop of Henle, duct, proximal convoluted tubule, distal convoluted tubule. They all carries urea, water, sodium, protein, glucose with the blood.
The most interesting fact I have learned about the circulatory system was the nephron system. The reason why I find the nephron system interesting is because even though the system is really small to see it does a important role in our bodies with millions of filtering structures. Which made it really fascinating.
