When do we write a hypothesis? What is a good hypothesis? Why do you mean by testable hypothesis?
  • Euna Chang

A hypothesis should be written before the actual experiment. A good hypothesis should be a testable statement which includes a prediction. Also hypothesis should not be confused with theory. A formalized hypothesis are written like this: "If ______ is related to _______ , then ________". Testable hypothesis means it must be testable, repeatable, have clear cut results which can be used to prove or disprove a hypothesis, and at last, it should reduce the amount of error by eliminating variables.

Hypothesis is an educated guess based on your knowledge about the experiment. This educated guess must be written before the experiment because it is a prediction you make on the results of a experiment. A good hypothesis means it should be testable, which is called a testable hypothesis. Also It specifies the relationship between the values of two or more variables. Testable hypothesis should be simple so it is test can be done to either prove your hypothesis or disprove your hypothesis.

Hypothesis is a specific educated statement of prediction about the result of the experiment.
A scientific hypothesis should be able to be tested. A hypothesis is about the consequence or the result of an independent variable affecting the dependent variable.

Hypothesis is a testable prediction about the results of the experiment and it is written before the experiment. A good hypothesis is written in clear and simple words and written in a form like this :
    1) If ___[I do this] ___, then ___[this]___ will happen.
    2) If ____ is related to _____ , then ______ . Testable hypothesis should be something that is possible to test.

Hypothesis is an educational guess that you make before you start the experiment. A good hypothesis must be like the following sentence. "If _____[I do this] _____, then _____[this]_____ will happen." Like this, a good hypothesis should use simple language, make sure it's testable and defined variables. Having a testable hypothesis means that it had identified variables and included independent and dependent variables.

A hypothesis is a prediction. You have to make a educated guess on ur results. The hypothesis should include Iv and Dv.
a example of a good form is ... "If _____[I do this] _____, then _____[this]_____ will happen."
if the hypothesis is written correctly, at the end of the experiment you should be able to say yes or no.

Hypothesis is an educated guess that leads to a conclusion. A hypothesis may be correct or incorrect. In order to confirm if the hypothesis is correct, experiments will have to follow.

We write a hypothesis when we are done with researching, so that we could predict what will happen in our experiments and our results.
