Risk/Reward is dedicated to the advancement and proliferation of the Art of Performance. Founded by artists and located in Portland, Oregon, we champion new and experimental theater, dance, music and performance events as a vital cultural force in our community. I visited the Smithsonian museums when I was in 8th grade and still have very distinct memories from the trip! Loved all the history you are surrounded by. Great place to visit within your lifetime.

When I was younger I visited the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. I believe it was then that sparked my interest in aerial vehicles that I have had and continued to have today. I have the arts and cultural world to thank for that.

This is a musical event that usually takes place on the first week of December as a celebration to welcome Christmas. I lived in Prescott AZ 5 years ago and have been to this event for two different year. Most of the store in downtown have a local music group playing for almost 6 hours that day. The idea is to let people know about the group and bring support and possible donation for them. There are some great music and downtown just feels like a big caroling festival.

I have been to this place many times and every time they have a different exhibition going on. And the shop and park around has been decorated into a really inspiriting place for arts.

Non-profit supporting art and cultural venues dedicated to increasing popular awareness of, and participation in, the arts of Oakland. My sister currently attends the University of California, Berkeley and says this is a really cool event! It is held on he first Friday of every month and is a great way to bring the Bay area community together through arts. There are also events held of Saturdays that are pretty cool to check out as well.

Where Digital Meets Nature - Friday June 27 & Saturday June 28 - The Gorge Amphitheatre Paradiso is a really popular music festival to the Pacific Northwest. It is located at the Gorge every year and people from all over the region travel to enjoy 3 weekend camping experience with renown dj's and multiple stages playing live music and overall lively atmosphere.

Paradiso is a really fun event!! My cousin has attened multiple years and was the one who told me to attend. The atmosphere is something very fun and unique from other 3 day fesivals, which I enjoyed.

Burning Man is an annual event and a thriving year-round culture. The event takes place the week leading up to and including Labor Day, in Nevada's Black Rock Desert. The Burning Man organization (Black Rock City LLC) creates the infrastructure of Black Rock City, wherein attendees (or "participants") dedicate themselves to the spirit of community, art, self-expression, and self-reliance.

My chemistry teacher in high school goes to burning man every single year. One class period he dedicated the entire hour and a half class on telling us about burning man and showing us his pictures.

I would love to one day experience Burning Man! I have heard nothing but great things about other people's experiences about the music, art, and community it brings together.

The Hult Center for the Performing Arts is a performing arts venue in Eugene, Oregon that hosts more than 700 events and activities a year and acommodating local, national, and international art and performance groups. Located in the vibrant downtown community on Willamette Street between 6th & 7th Avenues, adjacent to the Hilton Eugene and Conference Center.

The Hult Center is a great organization! An event/concert called the, "Bohemian Dub Ball," showcasing art as well as music by RJD2, Medium Troy, Eskimo, and other local performers on May 10 will be held at the Hult Center! The event will have student and community involvement. A great way to enjoy a Saturday night and be exposed to a wide range of creative sectors.

San Francisco's city covered in public art allows visitors to gain a better understanding of the culture and history of the city itself; since the establishment of the Art Enrichment Ordinance the city has funded artists to portray their work throughout the various buildings of the city.

I grew up in San Francisco and I have always appreciated the art around the city. The most memorable are the different heart sculptures that have been placed around downtown.
