Twitter Maps for Social Network Analysis | InFlow - 1 views

  •
When choosing a map - especially a social network map - which do you prefer - pretty or useful? In an ideal world I would take pretty useful, but forced to choose between the two I'll take useful. Here are two social graphs taken from my Twitter following data. -Valdis Krebs, InFlow, Social Network Analysis Expert

WikiMindMap - 1 views

  •
WikiMindMap is a tool to browse easily and efficiently in Wiki content, inspired by the mindmap technique. Wiki pages in large public wiki's, such as wikipedia, have become rich and complex documents. Thus, it is not allways straight forward to find the information you are really looking for. This tool aims to support users to get a good structured and easy understandable overview of the topic you are looking for.

O'Reilly -- What Is Web 2.0 - 0 views

  • In our initial brainstorming, we formulated our sense of Web 2.0 by example: Web 1.0   Web 2.0 DoubleClick --> Google AdSense Ofoto --> Flickr Akamai --> BitTorrent mp3.com --> Napster Britannica Online --> Wikipedia personal websites --> blogging evite --> upcoming.org and EVDB domain name speculation --> search engine optimization page views --> cost per click screen scraping --> web services publishing --> participation content management systems --> wikis directories (taxonomy) --> tagging ("folksonomy") stickiness --> syndication
  • 1. The Web As Platform Like many important concepts, Web 2.0 doesn't have a hard boundary, but rather, a gravitational core. You can visualize Web 2.0 as a set of principles and practices that tie together a veritable solar system of sites that demonstrate some or all of those principles, at a varying distance from that core.

Tabblo.beta - 0 views

  •
Tabblo allows members to upload unlimited numbers of photos, choose a creative design, customize the layout, add text, and invite others to view their creation and contribute their own commentary. The resulting "tabblo" is far more than a typical online album or slideshow, but rather a rich visual story combining pictures and words in an elegant, professional-looking design. Tabblos can be shared online, printed, or published to blogs or web pages.
