Hi classmates! I want to share with you a quite helpuf resource I've found on the net. As we all know and as we have been told since the beginning of our lessons, storytelling can be perfect tool for English lessons. On this web, we as teachers and our pupils can create our own stories in a dynamyc and funny way. First of all, you have to choose the theme the story is going to be about and the grade of your pupils. Afterwards, it appears a kind of spin with different levers, and so comes to the screen aleatory facts to make an story. Afterwards, we can choose the format for our story and we can select the option of making a draw. Once we have completed this step, it's time to write the story and make a picture if we want. Finally, you can download the story in your computer. I would like you to have a look at this fantastic resource which appart from working storytellings, promotes the use of the ICT's. I hope you enjoy it.

I like so much this page, is a good tools to use in primary because each pupils can choose about what want they write, so each pupils write about their interesting. I hope that in the future we can use all of tools that we are sharing! :)

This is a game very useful to introduce the vocabulary to the pupils, because it is a very dinamic and funny way to teach them vocabulary and simple structures as well. Pupils will be very motivated while working with this tool, and also it would be a good idea work in pairs and organise competitions. This would enhance the selfsteem and will increase the interest for vocabulary of our pupils.

Hi classmates: This is a collection of books for young learners. As children read these quality storybooks, not only are they boosting their reading skills, but they are also learning socially responsible tools for life. I think it will be very useful for our pupils.

Hello!! This article is about Oral Instructions to EFL Young Learners. It is a great way for teachers to get the big picture of classroom management and to know how to control pupils' behaviour, using an according vocabulary.

Here is an article talking about Dictation Exercises as an assessing tool for the EFL class. Personally, I had never found this kind of exercises especially interesting for teachers before. However, after reading this I have changed my mind because I think that realizing of our pupils errors can be a great source which can help us to design differentiated activities in order to correct pupils' real mistakes. What do you think?

I found this interesting webpage with lots of articles about ideas for classroom management. The one posted here is just an example, because I felt some curiosity about how to handle difficult students, but also you can find strategies to get the attention of your pupils, things that we should not do, how to stop bullying in the classroom, etc. Sincerely, as a trainee teacher I personally think I really need to know what do to in difficult cases. So, I thought you may be interested too.

Hello again! This web talks about multiple intelligences, a theme that we have studied last year and these days too. As we have talked in our classes, we can use different materials or tools in order to attend all types of intelligences because all people are different in different ways. We have to take into account the needs and interests of our pupils, we must be flexible teachers. I want to highlight one of the statements of Gardner that, to my mind, defines exactly what we have to do in the practice. "It's very important that a teacher take individual differences among kids very seriously. The bottom line is a deep interest in children and how their minds are different from one another, and in helping them use their minds well." Hi classmates! This is my second contribution in diigo. Last week we had an exhibition of storytelling. One of the stories that the professional told us was "the very hungry caterpillar", written by Eric Carle. I strongly believe that tell our students this story could be very useful, especially because it contains lots of interesting vocabulary. Here, in this page, you can find plenty of activities that will reinforce the vocabulary learnt by the students. As we have seen this weeks in the university, English classroom is dominated by the textbook. It decides what we have to do in the classroom. Nevertheless, we can use a lot of resources in order to produce intrinsic motivation in our pupils. I consider that storytelling can be a good learning tool because it promotes among other things, creativity and imagination. Furthermore, if we use stories in class, we will encourage the development of language among students. Good evening people! I want to show you an interesting article. This is a very complete article about Total Physical Response. I have searched about this topic, because was one of the most attractive contents that we learnt the last year. In this article we can see all about TPR, why we must to apply it in young children, what is TPR, its main characteristics, advantages and there are even examples to develop this method in class, linked to storytelling. With this method, children can learn by a motivate and dynamic way, as you already know. Only with a friendly environment, some coloured cards and the leading of the teacher, the pupils can enjoy much.

Hello! I found an amazing website about an interesting method of second language teaching. The website has a lot of information explained very clearly with videos, graphics, and schemes. Hello again group, we have learn a lot about Gardner,s theory of multiple intelligences. Maybe as i think, this are one of the most interesting points we have seen in my opinion we must take in account every day that our pupils are completely different. I post this article because is important to share our knowledge with others who are not in english mention. Hi Miriam! Thank you very much for sharing this page with us, I think that this information can complement the contribution that I done last week that talked about Multiples Intelligences too. This page can help us for a better understanding of each of the multiple intelligences. I consider that reading this document can help us in order to know what kind of intelligences prevail in some of the activities that we do in class (very useful for the portfolio). I believe that the intelligence is more prevalent in my is the naturalistic, because since childhood I've loved animals and nature. Hi guys! Today I am going to share with you a game quite interesting. It is available in three languages and also has three different levels of difficulty. I used it last year in the practices and the truth is that children were highly motivated. Hangman is an example of competitive game. Pupils play in order to be the first to achieve the goal. This type of game is very motivating for students. However, teachers must teach them to enjoy participating and the right attitude when losing a game. Furthermore, 'Run and point' is another game that can be played in a competitive way. So long!
